Came here the other night (Wed) and the place was already 3/4 full! At 630!! A tad on the expensive side but the pizzas are fresh, full of flavour and impossibly tasty. The bill was $50 for two which included an affagatto for dessert which I have to say was pretty average. BYO wine is a nice touch but the place can get noisy.
This is the way Pizza should be made. I love this place the only criticism I have is that it is a tad on the noisy side but I don't do too much talking when I'm there because my mouth is always full of great food. The staff are friendly and make the experience a good one. Make sure you book in advance otherwise it will be takeaways.
We had a craving for pizza one night, and decided heading to Balmain, where we heard good things about this pizzieria. We had a bit of a wait, since the restaurant was full, but couldn't complain about the quality and temperature of the pizzas when arriving at our table. I had the gorgonzola cheese, which comes without tomato base, my first time ever. Nice to have something different.
A disapointment from what we expected. For Pizza you pay big bucks and some of the ingredients are not entirely up to scratch. Have been here twice and it just falls short of the mark. I am sure they can do better on basic ingredients as the bases are terrific.
Well what can I say, this place has the best pizza that I have ever eaten. Great atmosphere. Only criticism is that pasta, there needs to perhaps be a little more variety on the pasta menu but the pizza makes up for it. Will definitely make the 45 minutes drive back there.
Attended a group farewell and ate like a king for $40 on a fixed menu. We had mezze plates and salads to start, delicious pizza and when it came to coffee and cake time I was too stuffed to eat. Would definitely recommend this place.
I had the pleasure of dining here last night and was amazed at the quality of food and service. I arrived with a friend at 6pm sharp, and there were already a number of diners seated at their tables. We were attended to with a minimum of fuss and our orders taken. I noticed that there were an interesting combination of aroma's emanating from the kitchen.
Once the pizza's arrived: The porcini e prosciutto and the diavola, it only took one taste to know that this was no ordinary pizzeria. I take my hat off to them for raising the bar in creating pizzas that delight the tastebuds! To top it off, you can take a nice bottle or 2 of your favourite wine without being charged a corkage fee and their desserts (specifically the Nutella pizza and the panna cotta) are to die for.
We will definitely be recommending this restaurant to friends, and I recommend booking at least a day before dining, especially if you have a large group. Belissimo!
A friend took me here for dinner. I had never heard of the place. I was quite surprised at how good their pizza was. I liked the general decor of the store as well. Service could do with some improvement.
