We came to Rosebud on Mothers day. It was fantastic! There was a big group of us and they were able to fit us all in after a small wait. The food was delicious and the coffee was yummy. The baked eggs were beautiful! Their service was great and they were really helpful fitting us in. We’ll definitely come back and have lunch next time.

We have been here 4 times for brunch and ad a consistently good experience. Even when very busy the service has been good as has the food. One of the reasons that takes us there is their ability to accommodate buggys and small children. It's one of our top choices for Rozelle.

We have been to this restaurant before and it was fantastic! Today was mediocre at best. Service slow, inattentive and the burgers were full of fat and lacked taste. They were simply awful. Has management changed? Need to pick up the act before I'll consider coming back.

Went for breakfast. The berry oatmeal pancake was delicious, and eggs benedict one of the best, although the bread they use is a little tough. Apple cider hollandaise is outstanding, though. Service isn't bad, but could be a little more friendly. Still, it was Saturday and crowded. We'll certainly go back.

I have been to Rosebud a couple of times recently and both times had a great experience. The menu selection is well thought out and the range of wines is diverse without becoming obscure.

The lamb targine is a must. We had been warned it was a "large" for 2 people but discounted this as we both have healthy appetites. It really was large and amazing value for money. I'd suggest ordering ahead to make sure you get one.

It looks as though babies and toddlers are well catered for with a separate changing room for them and lots of high chairs.

Areas for the waiters to focus on is to tilt the glasses when pouring bubbles and to maybe suggest adding more items than the standard number of serves to a plate if the plate is to be shared amongst a table. Small points that would just increase the service above a very respectable 8.

I came to Rosebud for their 1st Spanish Evening where a Set Menu was in place for $49 per person. We had a lovely platter of Tapas for entree, then a seafood Paella, finished off with Churros with hot chocolate sauce. All of this was washed down with an amazing glass of sparkling Sangria! It was a fabulous evening!

We felt right at home in the friendly atmosphere (my husband was even offerred a second helping at No cost!). Everything was presented beautifully and so yummy! Thanks Rosebud. Can't wait for your next Spanish evening!

Having been to dinner at Rosebud once before and missing out on the lamb, I was keen to go back and give it a try. It was well worth the wait! The lamb was definitely big enough for two to share, possibly even 3, and the service was friendly and efficient as before.

To start with we had the betel leaves but it would have been good to see the staff offer to increase the serving size so we all had the same number. Its great to see some more quality dinner options in Rozelle.

As a Balmain local, great to see this place open in the evenings again. Have been twice with groups of mates and loved both menu and wine list.

The tasting plate entrees were fabulous, the peach, mozzarella and Parma ham salad was my highlight. Only suggestion would be to offer to adjust numbers of things like the king prawns and betel leaves to ensure there's one for everyone sharing (we mentioned this to the waiter, so hopefully next time!).

For main course, you can't go past the lamb tagine, a generous serve for 2 even if you're hungry, and melt in the mouth meat.

The wine list is well thought out with everything from house wine in different carafe sizes to well-priced Veuve for a special occasion. The Torbrek Woodcutters Shiraz is great with the lamb tagine. Also tried a few other wines based on the waiter's recommendation, he's clearly passionate about food and drink, which added to the evenings.

My partner and I have eaten at Rosebud previously (about 12 months ago) and weren't overly impressed but we decided to go back and try the breakfast at Rosebud again on the weekend and we really couldn't find fault. It is in a great location and has a nice vibe with plenty of room to accommodate if you wanted to take a larger group or, as we were, more than comfortable on a table for two.

We both had eggs and toast and found the staff to be friendly and helpful and food came out promptly with our coffees which was different to the last experience and after chatting with the staff I am looking forward to trying there for a Friday night dinner.

Being locals to the area I can definitely say that Rosebud may become our regular Sunday morning and highly recommend it to others.

Went to Rosebud this morning as it is large enough to accommodate my 3 kids and one pram. Sat for about 10 minutes before someone decided we were in their 'section' and placed our order.

Ordered 3 kids milk shakes, 2 muffins and one juice special. Muffins came out immediately. Kids shakes took 25 minutes and were barely choc flavoured and barely cold. After waiting another 25 minutes I queried as to where my juice was and it had been forgotten. So very annoyed I told them to take it off the bill and we paid. $20 for 2 dry muffins and 3 kids warm shakes! This place used to be amazing, staff who recognised you if you were a regular, quick friendly service and great quality food and drink.

Now it is a mixed up, disorganised mess where staff argue about who is in their section instead of just taking an order. So disappointing as it was once a lovely place to go. Sort your issues out Rosebud or you will no doubt receive more reviews like this one.
