Slightly above average bistro/restaurant found in the harbour view end of the Sailing Club. Above average Australian meals, order, pay, then come and get it. Food is fresh, not too specyacular, and slightly pricey. You get drinks from the club's bar - reasonable list, Ok price-wise. Great for a quick lunch/dinner.

Nice food, nice view but $28 for a basic salmon and salad is a bit pricey for a 'go and get it yourself' meal at table service prices. Not to mention with kids running around. I was rather disappointing as I was expecting something a little more classy.

Eaten here a number of times over the last few months, mainly because it is close and convenient. It is always busy and the views are great. However the quality and presentation of food appears to be be going south.
The prices are high, more than pub prices for a club decor and used to be nearly worth it for simple well cooked dishes. However the quality is getting worse and the prices creeping up, a goof fish dish used to be $20 and now they are commanding nearly $30 for one of their fish dishes (with chips) The sides are ridiculously small and overpriced.
The club is still great for a beer and to take in the views but don't be greedy with your food.

Been here many times as a friend lives nearby. Prices on the high side. Steaks are very ordinary for the price. It would be nice if they had seafood sauce with the seafood platter, they only have tartar and tomato. The fettuccini boscaiola was nice. Great views.
Re-visited Rosabelle's the other night with several friends. We ordered the seafood platter ($99) + 2 half lobsters ($40). The food was fine but once again failed with the sauces. They gave us tartar, sweet chilli and yes Tomato sauce! I asked them for seafood sauce and the man said "We don't serve seafood sauce".
I don't know, is it just me? But I expect seafood sauce with my $140 seafood platter. And what's the deal with tomato sauce? Do they really know or care what people like?

Can't go past the $12 daily specials. Loads of different choices for food which is always tasty. If you help yourself (self service) and appreciate that it's a local Sailing Club, with nice views during the day and a very casual atmosphere then you will appreciate this restaurant. Raffles a few nights a week and trivia Thursday nights.

Food very average AND as mentioned in other reviews expensive. Extra $2 for veggies even if you don't want the chips and salad that the meals are served with. The salad and chips are awful so you really have no option but to fork out the extra $ for veggies. Lookout is lovely but the inside dining area is bland with uncomfortable chairs and tables.

I have been here many times, and it is always lovely. I have't had 'issues' with the wildflife outside, and so enjoy taking overseas visitors onto the balcony for lunch with a view on the cheap! The servings are just right, and I usually go for the prawn dish, as they are always huge and BBQ'd.

Went for a lazy sunday lunch, standing room only waiting for a table, the uncontrollable children nearly knocking us over. Finally get a table with a large TV set bellowing out football. Could not believe the meal prices. $35 for a half a lobster, come on the prices were like a first rate restaurant, the food is typical pub food but with expensive prices. Will never go there again, way too expensive and the food was awful.!

Considering this is a sailing club, eating dinner here is more expensive than you would expect. If I am paying $20+ for a meal, I don't expect to hear the raffle being called! The food was good, however, I would expect club prices for meals other than burgers, or at least more options/specials.
