For our opinion this restaurant going down from the hill so sharply. It was quite a nice place with nice food, but not any more. (probably they try to save some money but this is not a reason to serve old and tactless food. Went to celebrate a birthday and had a vouchers.

This was our biggest mistake as food especially cabbage roll was awful, music was so loud that nobody can hear anything. Main wasn't served until nearly 11pm and you will have no answer for it. How many times we asked to have a main meal at least before 10pm and been promised to have it on the phone but not in the Restaurant.

So this was our The Worst celebration. They lost us as a customers, never again we will go there.
Unless you love unbelievable loud music then you can go there.

Awful restaurant. Never again! No atmosphere and no music, except for the boring piano player in the corner, playing elevator music to no one.

This restaurant is the best in Russian Restaurants at the moment. Its a place for a party, a big party with lots of friends. We've been a few times with friends, and always come back for all the basic things that they truly deliver on: excellent Russian food, fun music, and plenty of drink.

My opinion for a good time there: Order the most expensive set menu if possible for a truly degustational heaven! Its BYO and you can bring your own vodka of your choice! The other menus are great, but you won't get the real sense of variety of russian food.

Dance: Also its a place to let your hair down and dance - even if the dance floor gets packed up real soon! I wouldn't recommend it for couples on romantic dates, get a few more couples to come with you, otherwise. you won't have as much fun!

I had my wedding anniversary there, it was truly value for money and we had a fabulous time, yet again!

Went there for a big birthday party on Sunday night. Excellent food! I'm Russian, my husband is Australian, and we both were impressed with the food.
Live music was good, but a little too loud for my liking.

The six of us had a great time, the service was fantastic, the food was really yummy, and the live music was fun and really made our evening.

It's a set menu with about eight or nine appetisers, two entrees, one main, and russian tea and little cakes. Don't worry if you think you won't like something because you'll definitely like most of it.

My favourites were the smoked salmon crepe things, the beetroot salad, the cabbage rolls, and the chicken and mushroom parcel. But the real hero of the night was the fish, I don't even like fish that much but this fish was divine. It was cooked to perfection and the cream sauce was beautiful.

The service was attentive and very friendly, it made you feel attended to and really comfortable.

The music was super fun, we even got up on the dance floor and danced a few songs. The atmosphere was like a family wedding, with little kids and senior citizens all dancing together.

We thought we were just going there for dinner, but all the courses lasted for about four hours, so it was really like a dinner and show, with music and dancing in between courses.

If you're looking for something friendly, comfortable and fun, then check this out, it really is an experience that is refreshing and different from all the pretentious, overcrowded places with grumpy service.

A Great place. I celebrated my birthday with friends from different countries, we love it. The food was delicious, the music was fantastic. Definitely Romance is the best place in Sydney if you want to have a wonderful time.

Awful restaurant. Went on a Friday night. No atmosphere. No music. No dancing. All the entrees were dumped on table as soon as my wife and I arrived - even before our other 4 friends arrived. The place emptied out by 8.30pm. We left around 9pm. We had gone thinking it would be a nice place to celebrate a birthday. Big mistake. It was the worst place ever!

My girlfriend and I recently visited Romance to check this place out for my work's Christmas Party. Lovely restaurant with warm and inviting atmosphere. It is not a romantic restaurant but Great place for Group bookings! International music, great musicians! This place is very different to typical restaurants in Sydney. Unique atmosphere and experience! Will be back with a group of 30 people in November!

I don't really understand why this place get such a high rating. Food was standard, take way too long to be served. My companion and I only received the main at 10 pm. The waiter did not explain what the food were. I left after my main at about 10.30, feeling very tired.

If you are in a group and looking for a night out, the live music was not bad. Not recommended for couple on a date though.

Definitely a lively place to visit. Everything sparkles and shines, you'll enjoy every minute, the delicious Russian food, a unique atmosphere and professional service. Definitely will come back again as each time I've been with friends, there is something new and interesting going on, whether it is the Russian music and dancing, or a taste of a new Russian dish, a great place to celebrate.
