Food is good. I enjoyed the butter chicken the most. A little bit pricey for Indian food though.

Great authentic Indian food at a great price. Wait staff are attentive and friendly. Will definitely return again soon.

A bit expensive for indian food but I must say they make the best butter chicken I have ever tasted. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

A great Indian restaurant who continually serves great food at a very reasonable price, never had a problem getting a table on a saturday night either, will be returning soon.

The Riverside Restaurant was rather quiet on the night we visited which was surprising given it was a Saturday evening. Service was average but staff were friendly.

First I must say that I am accustomed to full flavored Indian Food. For my tastes the food at Riverside was somewhat bland, perhaps, toned down to suit Australian tastes? I note one reviewer of this restaurant complained that the food was 'soooo spicy' but this was certainly not the case on the night I visited. My advice would be to sort out whether your table wants the food mild, medium or spicy at the time of ordering.

We had the $32 banquet and the consensus from our group was that butter chicken and lamb rogan josh were the favorite dishes. Everyone liked the samosas too. The banquet was more than adequate as far as portions were concerned. Certainly no complaints there.

To sum up: This restaurant is probably best suited for locals who want a decent Indian meal without having to travel far. However, those seeking fine Indian cuisine within a restaurant offering a high level of comfort and ambience should look further afield.

Beautiful food, the food was great although it was a little bit expensive it was worth.
The Service was great the restaurant was full and yet they were coming to me at no troubles. I'd rate this restaurant 9.2.

I was surprised after reading the great reviews on eatability. We must have had a bad night. My family and I went because we are lovers of indian food as well as pizza. Unfortunately, when it came to order we were told pizza would not be avaliable because they did not fire up the ovens for that night. No worries as we ordered some indian currys. It took a fair time for our food to come out, and they arrived at different times.

We found this odd because at the time the place was quite empty. They were all very very spicy, infact too spicy for some of us. However, the butter chicken was quite nice, and so boosts my food rating. Although the Dosa's seemed large, they were almost completely hollow. Not to mention soooo spicy (its a good thing I could handle it, can't speak for everyone else though).

Service was average, especially since there was not many people during the time we were there. In the end we left content, but not completely satisfied with the night.

We went here saturday night after reading the reviews but OMG service was bad we had to wait at the table for 25 minutes after been seated till they came to see if we wanted to order drinks then the drinks came and was flat. The menu needs to be a bit more specific $28.00 for an entree for 2 with 8 little finger food on it and no samosa's which said was in it. We will never return here again.
