I remember going to this restaurant and I had the risotto, not a good choice, it was bland and horrible. Mum had something with seafood I think from memory and she said it left her feeling quite disappointed. Such a shame, it has the right address and the right attitude for families but the food is just so boring.

I remember the staff weren't overjoyed to be there, maybe it was because it was a saturday nite? I remember thinking, I would probably not go back again, if they read these comments maybe they can fix the problem. Maybe get a good italian kitchen staff in? I'm sure they can do better, I'm sure of it.

This place is incredible. I love it so much that my family organized a dinner for me here for my last birthday. The food is incredibly tasty and the service is great. Prices are are as every other restaurant, only difference is that what you're paying for at Reginaldo's is worth every cent.

I've had Pizza's and Pasta's and I enjoyed both, very much! They have some incredible appetizers too to start you off and amazing dessert. Definitely a place I'd visit time and time again.

We ate here last weekend, and won't be back in a hurry! It was a cold night and we were seated near the door, which didn't close properly so there was a terrible draft all throughout dinner, there were other tables away from the door but they didn't seat us there.

My mum and sister both ordered the Carbonara which was very salty, so much so they didn't add Parmesan cheese. My partner ordered the seafood pizza, which was edible. I ordered the Fettucine special which was also edible. The food was nothing to brag about but the portion sizes were good. The service was abysmal!

The wait staff (there were three) had no idea what they were doing, we had to ask for glasses for our mineral water. They took forever to take our orders. Several times they just looked around the room without actually going up to a table to see if they needed anything. We won't be back here in a hurry, I would definitely recommend everyone try others in Leichhardt. They make the best fresh seafood pizza's I have ever tasted!

I tried Reginaldo's two weeks ago on a Sunday night with two friends. After hearing rave reviews, I thought it time to try it out. For entree I got the Bruschetta Crust and although it was the best I've tried in sometime, I had made the mistake of also ordering the Deluxe Pizza as well. It too was perfect even with curried beef on it. I had basically eaten 2 large pizzas!!! I tried some of my friend’s spaghetti marinara & although nice, I've tried better.

The ambience was good but it is a family restaurant and there were kids running around with no parental control, this can spoil an evening. The three of us paid $94.00 which was worth it and we enjoyed the large portions. The staff were very obliging and made you feel like one of the family. They have a new chef and business is booming.

This was my first time at Reginaldo's with a group of 8. My first impression was a little disappointing considering what I was told beforehand. But when I saw the prices on the menu, I soon realised why. This is an incredibly cheap eatery so I wounded down my expectations by a few notches.

Through the door, we were immediately greeted by a very friendly waitress and soon led us to our table by the window. Although I had the window seat, it still felt a bit claustrophobic as their table arrangements are very tight. I sat behind a guy on the next table who dropped his beer and subsequently, copped some liquid on my legs, so it was not a good start. Lose a table of two and the whole place would feel more spacious.

Ok now to the important part! I ordered the calamari fritti as an entree and a supreme pizza as mains, but in entree size. Although the calamari was only 10 or so dollars, the portion you get was a bit small. I love my calamari rings the size where you can fit your fist through them, but these rings are well, imagine buying a bag of mixed marinara from your seafood supplier. Pick the little calamari rings within the mix and that's what they are like. It's that small! I make my rings at home with big fat squid tubes and each ring would be at least 1cm in thickness. Now that's a ring!

I honestly hope their main sized fritti is a completely different story. The taste was acceptable; it was soft and not stringy or rubbery. Another note I'd like to make to the entree is the accompaniment. On the plate, you get 50% garden salad, 30% potato wedges and 20% calamari. These are simply way out of proportion. What's more confusing are my friends’ main meals. Their salads and wedges are in the same quantity as my entree. I hope they made a genuine mistake there. Lose a bit of lettuce and use real sized squid and the entree would be 1000 times better.

On a positive note, the pizza was a delight. The base was thin and crispy and cooked to perfection. The quality of toppings and cheese was good, and adequately used and not overwhelming. Too many people believe the more toppings the better. Well a real Italian pizza is quite the opposite. The only gripe I have was the tomato base sauce they used. I couldn't really taste it. I didn't try the gelato, but wished I did.

A final point I have to make was the service. It was simply outstanding. The waitress we had was not only friendly, but she managed to pull a few jokes for us. She really made us felt warm and welcomed. She also attended our table on numerous occasions and topped up our water jug without having us to ask for it. Big thumbs up for her!

In conclusion, I'd have to say Reginaldo's was an acceptable place to experience. I would go back there again but not on a date. Group events would be the most ideal. It was a very cheap night out and perhaps should be treated that way, rather than a fine dining experience.

This place is family friendly and it's noisy. But my wife and I have little boy now so anywhere they gives us a break is great. Food is not bad. service is slow but very polite and helpful. So you to accept that when the palce is packed and tables are so close together. Not the best pizza in the world be it was ok. Overall good value for money.

Great family, party, group atmosphere. Can be a little loud, but the quality of the food is excellent considering the price. Genuine Italian family cooking.

Highly recommend the Pescatore Pizza (it's topped with real fresh seafood, not marinara mix rubbish) and a pizza not on the menu Vegetarian with Chicken (it's vegetarian topped with chicken schnitzel - one of the best kept secrets in town).

Be prepared for a little noise, perhaps slightly confused service, take a drink and you'll have a ball. (NB for BYO fans the Vintage Cellars directly across the road is about to close.)

Nice venue. The food was delicious and the service friendly. The Pappardelle cooked to perfection. I definitely go back.

Well - I suppose it is a value for money but ... Bad things: service is below average. We had a booking for a group of 6 but it took them half an hour to find a table for us. We got only three plates instead of six - maybe it is a custom over there to get one plate per two? During 2h over there nobody came and asked if we need anything... Pizzas - as somebody said below - a better version of Pizza Hut - I don't think some people know how proper Italian pizza should look like. Baking pizzas in wood fired oven does not mean they are good.

Good things: Rissotto was delicious! One of the best I ever had. Like my nonna's ! For pasta I would give 7 out of 10. Good and tasty. We might go ahead and re-visit but only if the neighbourhood.

Coming here is a ritual for my boyfriend and I, as we came here on our first date, and we continue to come here once a month. We love the food. We especially love the prices! I have never had a problem with the food, and the service is great too.

I recommend trying the fusili alla norma. My favourite pizza here is a margherita but with eggplant. It may sound gross but I recommend you try it before you make up your mind!

Don't expect it to be quiet. It's very noisy, and very family orientated. But it's great to go with a group because the prices are fantastic! I went recently with a group of 4, and the bill came to $80, and that was entree and mains and drinks. I'll be sad if it gets sold!
