Great pizza! Highly recommended! We tried some of their specials and just found them absolutely delicious. Nice ambience and the service very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Will come again to try some of their other dishes on the awesome menu! Generous serves and byo, what a great place! Excellent!

Just had some pizza delivered. Wow a large pizza is huge! Took about 40 minutes to arrive so not bad and the guy was very polite. Down side they don't have simple pizzas like Margareta. Pizza was very tasty I had the Stallone.

Consistently good, we get home delivery all the time. Pasta is not the frozen variety that many pizza places deliver. Great take away.

I eat at Red Star at least once a week and have never been disappointed. The cafe has a great family feel and food always fresh. Staff are friendly, even when rushed off there feet. In reference to the review made below about a waiter with no personality. I've always thought the job of a waiter was too take orders and deliver food etc. Not to entertain. The only person missing out is you if you don't go back all because the waiter left you alone to eat your meal in peace.

This is the first time I've ordered from Red Star (home delivery) and I will order from them again. After trying so many places, they have to be the best pizzas in the area! The simplicity of the pizzas was perfectly sublime.

I've lived upstairs for almost a year before I bothered to try this place out. Just because I've never really noticed the shop due to it's dark appearance, and sometimes it almost looks like it's closed. This place is the classic case of don't judge a book by it's cover, this is the BEST pizza I've ever had in Sydney.

We ordered a large pizza because the two of us thought it's a restaurant, how big can a large get, we were shocked to find it was as big as a car wheel. The prawns was so fresh and the taste was just absolutely amazing. We also ordered a serving of creamy mushroom and ham pasta, that was also quite delicious. The ham wasn't too salty, and it was real good ham. I can't wait to go back to try some of the specials and more pizzas! Definitely would recommend anyone who drops around surry hills to try it out.

I only live around the corner...and I always get delivery, and also pop in when my parents come over for a quick meal. The pizza's are great, not oily or heavy and the spicy sausage pasta is divine! I am a real regular, and so are my friends.

We recently had a group dinner there for 10 people...and the service and food were just perfect.

Great food however ....on Saturday 1st Sept at around 2.30pm we were the only customers. The waiter who had no personality made us feel as though he was in a rush to go home didn't smile and sat in the corner of the restaurant sulking until we quickly finished our pizza and left - never again...
