This one is slightly better than the one on the highway i.e. 'Rashays cafe'. But only slightly. The food really does taste microwaved. Don't believe me? Try the chicken burger. Or better yet the chicken mushroom- the thought makes me shudder. For over $20 I want something more than a McCain's microwavable dinner. Tasteless to say the least.
The staff at this Rashays are not as over bearing as the other one, where there is a manager/s who floats around in a black shirt interrupting orders, undermining the wait staff, trying to get you do order more. Pushy and unacceptable. Avoid at all costs. The food is really awful, dried out, bland etc...
I would eat at McDonald's before a Rashay's, when faced with limited options after 10pm at night.

Food cooked to my request, of course always well done. Staff attentive to my needs but not overbearing. Reasonably priced drinks, flexibility as to when I want to dine, menu wise - minimum restrictions. I felt comfortable and will return.

Have been to the highway restaurant several times now and will go back. The food is really tasty, great side salads, didn't mind changing the order from the set menu slightly, service a little slow (we asked for the bill and they forgot to come back!) but fine we got it. Only downside is that the meal sizes are really too big. My boyfriend and I got an entree each and shared a main and couldn't finish it but it wasn't for lack of effort (the beed ribs are great). My boyfriend was a little disappointed by the presentation of his oysters but forgave on the flavour.
