Went here with my partner for a Sunday breakfast. We both ordered The Rashay's Breakfast plus extra hash browns each. The frieds eggs were dry, the bacon was dry, the tomato was horrible and in general both dishes came out cold. brrr. The waitress had advised us there were no hash browns in stock, and offered us fries instead. "Ok we thought". We were stunned when 11 fries each came out!
Are you kidding me? 11 pieces of chips replaces 2 hash browns! Must admit though, they were the best and hottest thing on the plate though! Conveniently for them the waitress forgot to remove the 2 extra hash browns (that we never received) off our bill! Biggest waste of $35, never again! I liked the size of their coke glasses and their square plates.
We had a mixed platter for 2 and a seafood platter for 2. If you want to pay good money for food that has been bought from a frozen food warehouse come here, otherwise hard to recommend. I have bought the exact same garlic butterflied prawns, salt n pepper calamari and everything else from my local F/F warehouse. The only thing on either platters that wouldn't have come from there would be the oysters which were tiny and tasteless and the Vannamei prawns which were ordinary as well.
Someone else in our group ordered the steak and while it was a good size, it was tough. Also tried some bruschetta and was one of the worst I have ever had.
Could think of a stack of places to eat at instead of wasting my money on food I can easily heat up at my place.
This used to be a favourite hang out but it's way too busy all the time now. Can't be for the food as it's more about bring a nice place to sit that got decent parking nearby. It's a bit quantity over quality for this one but desserts are great.
I just have to say the food is great and for the price, whether it's tuesday or not. Me & my friends are all regulars every thursday night for the past 2 years we would get together and have dinner, Rashay's keep up the good work.
Didn't like the food that much, I got the steak and chips. It was nicely cooked to my liking, but it was chewy and tough, I know odd to say, but I don't think it was the way it was cook, that was perfect, it was the meat, tough, the flavoring was quite plain besides the random explosion of pepper from the sauce.
The service was really great, the guy was nice, our cake was put into the fridge (friends birthday), then after we were done with the food, it was gone, straight away, anyways, we all got nicely placed plates for the cake. The food was also cheap, and then it looked really small, maybe because the plate looked huge, but it was filling.
The other con from the place was the smoking area, everywhere was a smoking area.. its a nice place for anything small.
I loved it when it was still near Westfield: wood-fired pizza, great for atmosphere. Friends and I used to have a lot of small "reunions" there every couple of months. The "new" premises is cool too, not too noisy from the road. Still love the pizzas!
I go to Rashay's often. Rashay's has a really laid back atmosphere, great place to go to have something to eat and then a few drinks with friends afterwards. The food has always been satisfying, drinks are not too expensive (average) and I find the service is always excellent!
If there is ever something wrong or something is needed, I don't even have to try to get their attention, they are always looking out for puzzled faces and then come over to ask "Is everything is OK?" - it seems they try really hard to make sure everyone's happy.
