First time I went there, disappointed, went with brother and the waiter looked like she just wanted to kill herself and others around her, she talked depressing, never once smiled and frankily made us feel bummed being around her.

The food was average nothing I can't get at a pub to be honest and lil tip never put sauce on a steak unless requested. Atmosphere was ok, definitely reminds me of a renovated pub but rashay isn't a pub its a restaurant, so acting like one would have made more sense, but I believe in 2nd chances and the 2nd time I went was much better though it took 45 minutes for dessert only. Communication people!

Otherwise they seem to learn from mistakes I might return but not for a while!

These guys don't cook onsite, they only reheat the food. The food is mass produced at another location. The food used to all be cooked at ingleburn in a factory, untill they clogged up the drains as there was no greasepit. They use the same van to deliver hot, cold, uncooked and fruit and vedge to thier restaurants.

Absolutely awful food. Had the hide to charge Premium Pricing for below average food. Pub food tastes better. Would not recommend ever. Went out for a nice dinner with partner, ruined the evening.

Food. It was terrible. They don't know how to cook steak properly (I ordered medium rare and got a well done rubbery piece of meat), the mashed potato was bland and the vegetables were overcooked. Also the plating was horrible, they slapped the mashed at the bottom then put the mushy veggies and then topped it with the heavy rubbery steak. Common sense will dictate that it will be a big plate of mess.

Ambience. It's nothing spectacular. The restaurant looks like a little posh cafeteria with bad lighting and many crying babies.

Service. Horrible. The waitress cleaning the adjacent table sprayed cleaning stuff to wipe off crumbs but the wind blew it directly into my friend and my face. She is obviously not bright enough to think that spraying it further from the table will more likely spread the mist on to other diners because of the big windows. Also, I ordered lemonade and got soda water. I asked for water and it didn't come at all.

Servers seems to be inconvenienced with your requests or when mistakes are called to their attention. To top it all off, they asked me if I want a spoon with my dessert? Why no thank you I can use my hands.

Honestly, the money I paid for a meal of 6 people is not worth the experience and value we got. First time trying it and never going back there again. Rashays should really invest into hiring experienced and trained servers, kitchen staffs to turn this business around.

Tried Rashays for the first time and found it very disappointing. The Rashay signage is everywhere, windows, doors, crockery, back legs of the waiters jeans, sleeve and front of tops, on their hats I almost expected to see the name engraved on their teeth when they smiled. Pity the same eye to detail was not on the food.

We had a Garlic bread of which I only ate half of my slice due to the dryness of the bread. To their credit my salad was delicious. My husband hates salads vegies and chips so we were pleased to see his favourite of mash and vegies on the menu, I usually eat his vegies which come with the mash.

After some time the waiter returns and says they have no mash, so he agrees to chips and salad (he never eats them except for a couple of chips). I also ordered an iced coffee which I think is overpriced for the small size compared to other eateries. I already had my salad and as my husbands chicken dish arrived I pinched a chip off of the plate and took a bite to find it was stone cold. I instantly said to the waiter who looked like he was from the kitchen as he was dressed differently that the chip was cold and as I touched the rest on the plate they were all cold, the only warm ones were the ones under the chicken.

I took a few off the plate and gave him them to feel. He agreed, apologised, and returned with freshly cooked hot chips, by which time my husband has nearly finished his bit of chicken. For a restaurant that promotes itself in the way that it does it seriously needs someone from high up to be an incognito diner to experience what the normal customer is experiencing.

Number one, if they offer a simple food such as mash and vegies there should always be mash and vegies. If they run out which is bad management, there is always a supermarket open nearby, so go buy some.

Personally I think when the quota of mash and vegies for the day was finished, no more is going to be made. So Rashays you are only pleasing, your staff who don't have to go out of their way, and displeasing a potential customer who now has to pay a fortune as the only thing likable on the plate is the chicken.

Number two. Do I assume wrongly that there are trained chefs in the kitchen and if so how on earth did stone cold chips get put on a plate and served with hot chicken to the customer. For this reason I wonder about quality control and what else gets overlooked in the preparation of food.

We eat out 3 to 4 times a week and although I loved my salad I would not return.
As for the staff, they cannot be faulted, they were very pleasant and eager to please.

We ended up here accidentally as the Catholic club was pretty full and we had heard good reviews from family. We were seated quickly and the service is what you would expect from the employed age bracket at Rashays (I didn't spot any staff over the age of 21... but they were doing their job of churning through patrons quickly quite well!)

The garlic bread was good, but the schnitzel was terrible according to 2 of my boys (who might I add, have eaten their share of schnitzels, so have good basis for making that judgement... even the non-fussy one left his meal half eaten. The new york steak was average, the mushroom sauce was great, but this meal came with an old salad (It was pretty appalling - the worst I have seen yet in a restaurant)

In summary: Our experience wasn't great, but I am sure they have meals that appeal to many non-schnitzel lovers. An overpriced cafe style restaurant with very basic meals of very basic standard... Needless to say, we won't be back...

I dine at Rashays regularly, love the value of the massive drinks, lunch specials are always worth it. Love the garlic mixed in with the veggies!

Now the Bad Review! The coffee is Terrible! I had a regular Latte, was so strong, I added a total of 4 sugars to ease the strongness and it still tasted terrible, I work at a Cafe and with the same size latte I add 2 sugars and its lovely.

Will continue to Dine at Rashays, but will never order a Coffee again!

We have eaten here twice and both times the food was good. The service and waiters are very good. The cheese bread is very large and very tasty. I am going there again in a couple of weeks with friends and hope it is just as good on that occasion.

I've been here more than a few times and won't go again after last week. Although the staff were lovely the food is truly poor. We all ordered chicken schnitzel and it was so overcooked that my friend had to use a steak knife. I've also tried every burger and every time it is under cooked. Its a shame as I only work up the road, but I can't go again unless I hear they have decent chefs there.

Very disappointed, placed order and entrees served in good time but the mains came to our table just as we started eating our entree, no time in between so the mains left on the table getting cold. Salad was old and slimy could not eat. Lasagne was very fatty. Didn't bother with sweets or coffee. TV on every wall, all switched on and volume loud, aircon on very cold in mid winter, all windows along Queen St open so noise and fumes over took. Screaming kids and nothing to absorb noise. Tried it but won't be back.
