I normally like this place, however, had a terrible experience there last night.

Went with a group of 10 for dinner celebrations. Waited 5 minutes to be seated, being completely ignored when still no one paid any attention to us whatsoever I decided to seat myself at the next available table only to have someone rush to the table advising us that we could not sit there as the table was booked.


I requested a table for our group and was advised that there is no available tables, when I enquired what time the booking was for on the table we were seated at I was advised the booking was made for 8pm (It was already 8:30pm when all this took place). I enquired for how long they would be holding this table since 30 minutes had already past since the booking time. No answer was given.

I advised that I was happy to move and enquired where we should sit. I was then told that there are no available tables and was advised that there is another Rashay's restaurant down the road. When I asked the girl to confirm that she is actually asking me to leave and go somewhere else she agreed to let us sit at the current table.

We then waited a good 30 minutes before our order for mains were taken. The pizza was very very average and not what I would expect of a wood fire pizza restaurant the other meals were ok. At no time during our meals were we approached to see if we needed more drinks or anything else at all.

After our meal I asked for a take away container to take the left over food with us. Had to wait a good 15 minutes for that as we watched tables around us being cleaned and us being completely ignored once again. When I requested the bill to no surprise this didn’t come for a substantial amount of time either and only after I had gotten up and walked over to the cash register to politely ask for the bill once more.

Overall: Completely unprofessional and terrible customer service. Very average food. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else. I won't be back!

Rashays is a regular joint for me and my girlfriend along with our friends sometimes. Its always extremely spacious with friendly staff in matching uniform.

The food is pretty tasty and the value of the food is average. I was really surprised with the size of my glass of lemon lime bitters as it was the size of a jug. Have no idea what their jug is then. During lunch I'd recommend a glass of lemon lime bitters their chicken pizza and a basket of wedges. That will fill up a couple for a very decent price and food.

Great family restaurant with lots of variety. With $20 you could apply their membership card, which give you pasta or pizza half price every monday & tuesday, and 10% all foods & drinks. Very very good value.

I came here with a few of my friends from Liverpool, all of the recommending this place. I gave it a go and it was decent. Nothing overly special. Adequate food for a ok price. Staff were mediocre and my steak was a tad over cooked, though my friends pizza looked appeasing!! All in all, great place to meet up with friends, nothing more.

I have been here (sadly as there is nothing else around liverpool) on around 10 occasions. 5 out of ten times I didn't order anything because I just thought it was a waste of money.

Occasion 1: we order a tiramisu cake, we get a blueberry stale cake. Even worse the senior staff tries to convince us its a coffee cake. When we show him blueberries, he whisks it off, no apologies.

Occasion 2: Fruit salad is doused with vinegar. I don't know how you can stuff up a fruit salad.

Occasion 3: Side of vegetables came raw. Not steamed, not nearly raw, Raw and Frozen. They just strategically placed them on the plate. When we complained we got replacement vegetables, which promptly arrived, at the end of the meal after dessert. I felt like a wad of steamed broccoli then.. not.

Occasion 4: Ordered a medium rare steak with pepper sauce. It came with mushroom sauce. I asked the waitress to take it back and give me pepper sauce, they scraped off 90% of the mushrooms and put a new sauce over it, I am allergic to mushrooms and could taste it. I asked them to take it back, they bring me a fresh steak that was charred. At least it had the correct sauce. Take 3, I get a decent steak, 1 hour after everyone else has finished eating. Thankyou.

Occasion 5: I order a basic garlic cheese pizza, I've had it here before, when it doesn't come out burned its pretty good. They now replaced the garlic with garlic sauce from the local supermarket. MMMM, an oil based greasy garlic sauce with greasy cheese. yummy.

Whenever I go there, and you do have to go there if you live anywhere around liverpool and there is nowhere else to go, I order coffee only. They've never stuffed up my coffee before.

My friends have been here but I've never heard of it. Its known for its large portions. Coming on a wednesday night it was 75% full but the place is big. Service was good, prices a little pricey But the portions are bigger than other places. The food itself was average though, tried rashays chicken and the mixed seafood entree. If you're hungry, this is the place to go.

I have been here for lunch twice with my partner and would describe the place as bulk eating venue that is more bistro style than a cafe. If you are after a basic place to go for a basic feed, you will probably be satisfied although feeling a little out of pocket.

We ordered the chicken ceaser salad, chicken schnitzel and beef nachos. The meals are of a generous proportion and we liked the "regular" (huge!) sized soft drink glasses. This enabled us to not have to order another drink each during meals. The meals themselves were acceptable, but over priced. The corn chips in the beef nachos were semi burnt and the chicken schnitzel was lacking flavour.

Staff are disinterested and it is hard to catch their attention to add to your order. I requested a water which took an unacceptable 20 minutes to arrive. Both times we have been here was for lunch when the place was near empty, I don't think I would attempt dinner.

Make sure you check the price of your bill against the menu because we were charged for 2 extra soft drinks we did not order.

Just awful, I went with four other friends and the food was terrible. One of my friends could not bring himself to eat the Nachos that he had ordered and ended up ordering something else. The meal looked horrible so I hate to think what it would have tasted like! The waiter did not even ask if there was a problem with the Nachos even though the meal had clearly not even been touched. None of us were happy with our food. I agree that the food is overpriced and overhyped. I will not be returning again and do not recommend this place to others.
