Came here for lunch and found it packed out. Great japanese noodle bar serving very freshly prepared dishes.

I eat lunch here at least once a month and have done so for the last 5-10 years, I forget exactly how long. My favourites are the katsu-don or the rbi-don, and sometimes when I want to splurge, the unagi-don. They are consistently good. Once in a while I have a ramen and that's good too. This place is very popular with cognoscenti, service is quick, and the price is very good for what you get and the location on Crows Nest eat street.

I have been to pretty much every japanese noodle bar out there and by far this is my favourite. The only time I've had better was in Japan. Formerly ten sun, I've been coming here for at least 16 years? Udon set is my favourite, but I also enjoy the miso ramen and fried noodles. Nothing flash, but the service is always friendly and food always consistently excellent.

After having eaten the best ramen in Singapore on a recent trip, I search the websites hoping to find an eatery that could satisfy my next fix for delicious ramen. Based on the great review on Ten-Sun, I immediately went to the shop.

The shop looks tired and poorly furnished. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen with karage on the side. The minute I saw both dishes on my table, I had a sinking feeling about eating them. The soup was runny, salty and mediocre in taste. For $10, there was only one large slice of pork in the bowl. The karage didn't look and taste like typical Karage. The chicken were cooked as small flat pieces of meat - typically karage are chicken pieces pressed into uneven balls and deep fried to produce the crispy crunchy taste in the mouth.

The standard has dramatically changed overnight after the last review was lodged in this website. The only good thing about this place is that the service was good and staff was courteous. Definitely not a place I would return to again.

Fantastic, quick, tasty meal. It's in a shopping centre so keep that in mind, but you'll be slurping soup and noodles not gazing out the window. Highly recommended.

Fantastic. As they say, the best places are found by word of mouth. A colleague of my husband's introduced us about 11 years ago. We have been visiting ever since. We even take our two sons here now. The best Cold Noodle in all of Sydney, try as I might, it has never been out done. The Gyoza are always perfect! If you love authentic Japanese food, this is the place to eat.

Name is Sun Sun now but they maintain the same good standard of foods as previous Ten Sun. For a simple food and noodle bar prices are reasonable, and you can get in and out quick without any delay so super for a quick meal.

Ten-sun, you rock. Where else on the North Shore can you get Japanese food for this price? This is a very authentic Ramen-ya where you can even do it like a true Nihon-jin and order gyoza dumplings to go with your noodle soup. The kare-raisu (curry rice) is so perfect it resembles those plastic food models you see outside restaurants. Only let down is the one wafer thin slice of roast pork you get in the soup, but that's cause I'm a greedy goose. Ten-sun, I'm a big fan!!!

In terms of taste and value, this is one of the better lunch spots in all of Crows Nest area. Got my work colleagues hooked on the curry dishes and I'm a big fan of their ramen. Frequent this place on a fortnightly basis.

Service is polite, quick and to the point. Atmosphere not much to look at, and seating might be somewhat limited, but for everything else, I usually return and recommend to friend working in the areas, as an excellent cheap eats.
