Ever since management changed, this cafe has continued to disappoint. Previously it was run by a lovely mother daughter who went out of their way to please their customers. However, the new management have added a Greek Theme which in my opinion does not work very well since the service is lagging behind. I once ordered a banana smoothie and the guy running the place dropped the ice cream scoop on the counter. He then scopped it up with his hand after handling money and shaking other patrons hands. It was insulting and I never ordered anything but coffee since. I do not think the management who took over in 2006 are any good and I have a huge problem with their food handling practices. I am very sorry the previous management left!

I really like the Quarterdeck Cafe at Birkenhead Point. The deck has a lovely casual feel and beautiful waterviews across the harbour. It's a great place to meet up with friends for lunch & yes they do a nice breakfast too. The family that run this business are just lovely. Always friendly and willing to go that extra mile to keep a customer satisfied. I have been to this outdoor cafe on numerous occasions and honestly, it just does not disappoint. This place has a lovely 'feel' to it.
