Recent refurbishments of our 1st & 2nd floors have been undertaken with careful consideration to hosting events. Designers were briefed to maintain the significant history of our 140 year old heritage listed building, whist still offering plush modern comforts to ‘wow’ our guests.

Choose from our 2nd floor private rooftop level, with an open air terrace & harbour views. Or our 1st floor level, comprised of a number of great function areas, all available to the wee small hours of the morning.

This place is a cracker! We've loved it for plenty of years, and then some. Great staff, reasonably priced menu, nice atmosphere, pumping air-con so when it's hot it's a welcome oasis. This visit we shared thai fish cakes around 5pm on a boozy arvo after being elsehere, and I'll tell ya what, they were just so good.

Great value pub food! How can you beat a steak and chips for $7. The chef is overcooking the steak so order one level of rare-ness lower than your preferred. Good for a cheap lunch.

Had a fantastic pub lunch here, good quality produce, a mix of traditional pub meals with a few cafe type entries on the menu with friendly service. We were very, very happy with our choice, great food, great venue and a great price.

This place is legendary for its rowdy atmosphere, but we wanted to say we'd been there. We went early on a Friday night (6:30 pm) and it wasn't really that busy. Beers are pricey for a workman's pub, but the food was excellent value for a place right on Darling Harbour. We both had the hamburger with the lot and were pleasantly surprised, while the beef patty was ordinary, it was prepared with a huge slab of bacon, egg, fresh lettuce, crisp gourmet roll, etc - and the chips were excellent as well. All this for $12, we were pleasantly surprised.

The atmosphere didn't disappointed after we finished our meal, about 10 drunk blokes wandered in and ordered about 20 drinks at once and the place was just starting to pick up I think!

I ate hear in May 08. I thought the specials were great value, not many places you can get a good steak for $7. I have paid $30+ for the same plenty of times.

Service was fast for a busy bustling place & the beer went down well. If you're looking for fine dining keep away, but if you're after great value & a busy atmosphere...give this pub a go.

I visited this pub during the day late last year (2007) and experienced the rudest service ever. The bar staff would be engaged in conversation with each other and not show any manners at all ie no please, thank you or even eye contact. Plonking the change on the counter seem to be the done thing here too. Waiting for a tip perhaps? please!

I can understand the concept of leaving this pub "old school" but it's just dirty and needs a good clean up. But more importantly the staff need to be taught some basic manners/customer service skills.

Had the misfortune to spend an evening here a few nights ago. Doormen seem incapable of communicating in English (or any other language for that matter). They watch you buy a drink then decide at drop of a hat to throw you out for having had too much to drink. Saw comments on another website describing them as inconsistent and drunk with power. Couldn't agree more.

Quite possibly the worst pub food I have ever tried. I have only dined once but I cannot risk it again. Shame, as the drinks are well priced.

The Pyrmont Bridge Hotel is very simple and is a no fuss establishment which can cater for a variety of people. While it could do with a makeover and style overhaul, this pub is famous for it's grotty nights where you are sucked in and spat out at 5am.

The drinks are reasonably priced and the bistro has a typical pub menu. It has a $6 section, which isn't bad value for a lasagne with garlic bread and salad or a steak with mash.

This pub has little balconies that is nice to sit and have a quient drink on a sunny afternoon and offer an alternative to the noise inside the pub.

The staff are friendly enough without crowding. As I recently went on quiet afternoon, I didn't have too much interation with the staff but from previous times, I have had no trouble.

While there are other venues in Pyrmont that offer lusher interiors, tastier menues and more 'beautiful people', I believe it is nice to be able to come to a place that is honest and will always welcome you back.

This is such a good place to go. You can turn up in your joggers or dressed up ready to hit the town. We have had the $6 meals loads and they are great value - small but fresh and tasty and if the peri-peri chicken ever appears on the $6 list again, I will be the first in line. We have had much fun from the juke-box and TAB in there and it's a relaxed, friendly environment!
