Lovely food, lovely people. My husband and I eat here regularly. Nice and quiet! They play gentle, old fashioned music here and you can actually have a conversation! So unusual in this manic, brash city.

The food is fresh, very flavoursome and not oversalted llke so many Thai places. A great place to take friends or family. Have never had a bad meal here. For the price, definitely better than your average Thai. Very vego-friendly.

We got take away from Pumin based solely on the good eatability reviews. We were left puzzled, unsure if we got them on a bad night, or if their food simply doesn't translate well to home delivery.

We tried a good selection of dishes, including the mixed entree, salt and pepper calamari, broc the pork, basil prawns and son in law eggs. They were almost universally disappointing.

The entrees were soggy, oily and dull (spring rolls, curry puff, fish cake), the chicken satay undistinguished, the calamari was soggy too.

Our large rice did not even fill one normal sized take away container, and the basil prawns was literally 8 prawns with some cooked basil leaves, nothing else. It took up about 30% of the container volume. The pork was quite fatty, the fat had not rendered off during the cooking, and it wasn't tender.

The only decent points were the sauce on the eggs, although the eggs were well over-cooked, and the flavour of the prawn dish was reasonable.

This was a real let down. I am almost tempted to try and eat in as I find it hard to believe the food we got is typical of them given the reviews, but they didn't do themselves any favours. This was without doubt the worst of the local thai places we've tried.

I'm a local living nearby for three years now. I should have written earlier here based on how much I love this place.

The food goes from strength to strength. The salt and pepper squid in my opinion, is the best in Sydney. I get it on every menu at other Asian restaurants because I love it so much but nothing has come close to their version! It's best enjoyed when eating in because it's fresh, always loses a little something when it has to be packed in a plastic container and shipped around, though even then it's still good.

The BBQ chicken, beef or pork are all winners and a vegetarian option with the curries will see your plate filled with lots of lovely bright, fresh, perfectly cooked vegies, just what you want! Not a couple of sad green bits floating in sauce like others restaurants I've tried.

The interior has seen a lot of good work and it's a really pleasant place to dine. The staff couldn't do enough for you. And the prices are really good value for money. Doesn't get a huge amount of dining in but it should, the area is lacking in this kind of thing. It would be a great place to take a group too.

Pumin Thai is a gem, and a perfect affordable dinner out for two any night of the week. If you haven't been yet do yourself a favour, grab a bottle of wine from the bottle shop across the street, get a table for two by the window, start with the squid for your entree and go from there. You won't be disappointed.

Excellent local Thai Restaurant for take away and eating in (especially with kidlets). Salt and pepper squid is always a favourite.

Never dined in as I live a block away, but looks fantastic. Food is always superb, best Thai take-away I've ever had the pleasure to experience. Their broccoli dishes are to Die for, I highly recommend Brocc the Pork! A teensy bit more expensive than some other local places, but definitely worth it many times over.

Friendly prompt service. I've eaten here mid-week when they seem to mainly have take-away customers. Have also eaten here on a Friday night with a big group of 20. We had mixed entree, spring roll, curry puff and chicken satay as well as 4 or 5 mains as part of a $25 banquet menu, excellent value and very good service considering the size of the group.

Nothing outstanding but very reasonably priced Thai and fast service.

Great food and so tasty. We have eaten with friends with kiddies for an early dinner and it was so easy. The staff are lovely and helpful. The food is amazing value. Last night we ordered takeaway and it was good. We had the "Drunk Prawn with Crispy Basil" OMG it was so lovely and spicy. My hubby and I were in heaven. The Chilli and Basil beef and chicken pad thai is great for a standard Thai meal . Awesome value.

We are recent locals to Dulwich Hill and were very happy to find Thai food of such quality locally. They have excellent vegetarian options with a couple of dishes that you don't always see, such as a very yummy suki yuki. Apparently the meat dishes are tasty too. The service is very good and the staff really do go that extra mile to help.
