Often they are the only place open at the time I am looking for breakfast. Unfortunately, the service can be very poor depending who is serving. Also, sometimes the baked goods seem a little stale at 6.30 am. I wonder if they are day old? I have given up recently and prefer vegemite toast at home.

Great pastries and cakes. And yummy sandwiches. I have gone there regularly for three years to buy lunch. A little pricey, however. But the worst thing is the service. The man is usually polite and friendly, but the lady is often sour faced and grumpy. She could learn to smile occasionally. The last time I was there there was a misunderstanding with the order. She pulled a long face, and slammed things down as she made my sandwich. Very unprofessional. As there are so many sandwich shops around, I don't think I'll be back.

Best quiche I ever had. Desserts are excellent too. Definitely best backed goods I've had in a while.

I run past this pie shop many times a week (they are open very early) and the pies and other desserts look really good (I always slow down my running pace and crank my neck to get a good look! I never get bored of looking at the shop front). Finally made it there with the purpose of trying something and I really enjoyed the rubard and apple pie. There are other interesting sweets to try.
