We fed a table of 10 for under $150, including 2 beers (Bought own wine). For the money the food is pretty good. It's not amazing, but it's certainly not awful and has some real highlights (betel leaves were a hit at our table). Honestly value for money it's hard to go past. Decor is a bit dated but who cares really. It's clean, functional and a nice place to go for a simple meal out.

Came here for the lunch special, servings bit small and I'm still hungry after lunch. Decor looks old. Took a while to get a waitress to take the order. All in all, an average experience.

Fabulous menu and very authentic Thai food. The menu went beyond the predictable with many dishes on offer that are seldom available to Australian diners. We were very impressed - the waitress was friendly and helpful, the decor a bit dated but more charming than most other Thai restaurants. A cozy family atmosphere. We are already planning a return to this restaurant that we happened upon by accident.

Went on a week night. The service was little slow considering there was very few diners. However, this was made up with the food. Well cooked and nicely presented. Decor is very dated but this adds to the experience and the charm. Would go again and happy to recommend.

Love the 70s decor, lovely staff and really, really wanted to like this place, but apart from the delicious betel leaf entrees, the food here was disappointing.

My favourite Thai restaurant in Sydney! The Cocktails are to die for, the curry is delicious and full of meat and the best thing? the deep fried Bananas w/Honey mmmm. The service "can" be a little slow but staff are friendly and I personally love the 1970s style decoration. Do try!

Compared to the other reviews, our experience at Pron Prohm was terrible. My partner and I went on a Sunday night, it was quiet, but the service still managed to be slow.

Food wise we ordered the thai beef salad and the Chef's Special, Chicken of the House. The beef out of the Thai beef salad was dry and overcooked. The chicken was not bad, moist and slightly char grilled as promised, but still not up to par compared to other Thai restaurants in Sydney. The rice was probably the best out of everything we ate, too bad it took 15 minutes to get the attention of the waitress and have our rice refilled.

This could have just been an off night for the restaurant and and the waitress but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

We absolutely love this place. Where can you get dinner for $7 takeaway or $10 eat in for a stirfry with rice! We try to eat there once a week and it is so lovely how the staff greet you by name! Yes the decor is old fashioned but it totally adds to its charm, makes you feel like you are actually in Thailand!

Nothing special here, a fairly average Thai diner which needs to "re-position" itself before it goes into oblivion. Despite previous reviews we thought the 'decor' outweighed the food and definitely no crowds?

Massamam beef nothing to write home about, nor the red duck curry or the normal stir frys. If anything a little over priced and far better value 2 km away in Haymarket, but the staff are friendly and no rush to vacate table.... funny that?
