We have been here a few times. Yesterday we called in for lunch. MM had the sirloin steak, blackened (in a good way) on the outside, blood running free inside, with chips (hand cut, perfectly fried) and bernaise sauce. I had the wild mushroom ravioli, in a deliciously buttery sauce. We then shared the cheese. Three cheeses, soft cheddar type and blue with oatmeal crackers, grilled bread and apricot chutney. Fantastic! Nice selection of wine by the glass, excellent black coffee, $87.00 very well spent.

Went for a birthday celebration on a Wednesday night. We were the only people there till about 8.30 and then it was packed. The food is not exactly irish but so good. Everyone was pleased with their meal. The service was prompt. Would return.

Seen better days imo. Great ambience only to be let down by the variety and quality of the food. The place was empty on a recent saturday evening which says it all.

A rainy Friday night found me at the print room with my partner for date night and what a wonderful evening it turned out to be. We shared a drink at the pub downstairs and the very attentive barman noticed us checking out the bar menu and passed a restaurant menu to look at as well. We wandered upstairs to the restaurant and happily found the same barman now working the floor upstairs.

I love the ambience of the Print Room, cosy and not styled to death it immediately sets the scene for a great dining experience. The service from our bubbly and helpful waitress and the aformentioned barman was fabulous, such a nice change to dine out in Sydney and not be made to feel like we should be grateful for any attention. It set the scene perfectly for the food that followed.

I had the confit duck leg for an entree, the duck was succulent and tasty and perfectly matched by the cabbage and rocket salad with apple chutney. My partner's 6 fat juicy oysters looked delicious and were so good he was not prepared to share!

For mains I had the trout with cauliflower and potato puree, a lovely dish that, perhaps, could have benefitted with a slight touch of acidity. My partner's mushroom risotto was divine, I thought he was brave to order an Italian dish in an Irish restaurant, however, he proved me wrong. It was one of the best risottos either of us had tasted.

Dessert choices were good, however, the Bailey's bread and butter pudding was a little dry and rubbery, the coffee ice cream really saved it. My partner thought his chocolate tart was tasty but would have been made even better by being a little warmer.

The happy, efficient service, great atmosphere and tasty, unpretentious food made for a lovely night out. Thanks, we can't wait to go back.

We went to this restaurant last Saturday night, because we could walk to it and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the Pork Belly, and reports on the Lamb and the Risotto were favourable as well. Our waitress was lovely and very efficient. It was cosy, but I wished they used the fire.

I love this place! The food is always delicious, the service is friendly and it is good value. Interesting Irish spin on traditional pub food. Unfortunately, when I've been here on weeknights it is always quite empty, not sure why, it is definitely one of the hits of an otherwise lacklustre Oxford St dining scene.

Had dinner here last night, after having a few drinks downstairs at Durty Nelly's. The look of this restaurant is great. The staff are friendly, prompt and make sure everything is fine with your meals once they have been served. Last night we dined on the Chicken Liver with Toasted Brioche & Grape Chutney. Superb. Then for mains we had the Barramundi and the Roasted Rump of Lamb with vegetable cous cous. Again delicious. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This pub restaurant is great! Warm, friendly irish service along with big hearty meals. Food is always fresh, oysters, soda bread, steak and spring lamb is me and my partner favourites, we have been a few times now and have nothing to complain about. A table out on the balcony is romantic on a warm night.

This restaurant is a gem. Go for the guiness pie when its on special. Its a shame they don't get more people through the door given the quality of the food. Fantastic service too.
