Their service was ok. However, the pizza was awful. It was very oily and lacked flavour. Especially for the price. The pasta was something I could make at home, but I could make it better! Very disappointing!

This would have to be the worst pizza we have ever had. I honestly cannot remember what pizza we ordered because all you could taste was the mountain of cheese that was on top oozing oil everywhere.

Will definitely not be returning.

The food was delicious. The portion size was very filling. My wife really enjoyed the sticky date pudding. Friendly owners and staff. We will be returning soon.

The service was awful, the waiter forgot our drinks, lack of service from the waiters, the garlic bread was way better then the pasta & pizza. I wouldn't go back or recommend it to others.

My husband, baby and I ate here last Saturday. Have come here a couple of times before and will come again. Found the food to be good as always. My husband goes for the pizza and I go for pasta. The baby eats little bits off each of our plates. Good value for money, good service and I'm not sure if she is the owner, but the lady who runs it is very good with children. Would recommend this place for anyone, but especially for those with family as it seems to be a family friendly joint (no glares from other patrons or servers when the baby chucks a fit).

We came for a family birthday..8 adults. Everyone in the party commented on the high quality of the food and the size of the serving. Even though it was a Friday night and Portobellos was full, the staff were very attentive to our needs. Ok the place was noisy, but that is to be expected in a busy Italian restaurant.

We went to Portobello for dinner on Saturday night, the food was lovely very generous portions, I was trying to eat while holding my baby, the owner on seeing this was lovely enough to cuddle my daughter while we enjoyed our beautiful dinner, even though the restaurant was full we still felt well looked after, everyone was attentive and friendly a great place to enjoy a meal, will be going back soon.

We have been going to this restaurant for many years as a fun, child friendly place however we will definitely be thinking twice next time! The food is still good however besides the staff which were under the old owners, the new staff don't smile, are very unfriendly and really need to be a lot nicer to children. This is a local restuarant which should be 'the place to go to', lets hope they improve. What a shame after all of these years.

I come here loads and love this pizzeria. Fresh ingredients are only used here and it shows. Very nice cosy atmosphere and attentive staff.

Fantastic food, excellent potion sizes, so much so that we had to take most of our pizza home, which by the way was still excellent the next day when I had it for lunch!

Service was great, however, it was a Wednesday night and not busy so you would expect great service. The ambience is nice, however, we could hear some strange noises, not sure if it was a movie playing in the video shop next door or a noisy drinks fridge, it was a bit annoying but if the restaurant was busier it wouldn't have been an issue.

Overall it was fantastic, the best Italian in the district for sure.
