Let's start with food:
I ordered Salmon Fillet which came with Mash. The mash was dry and chunky and the salmon overcooked to the point it was stringy. My partner ordered the New York steak, medium rare, with dianne sauce. It was served Well Done and the dianne sauce was salty gravy with garlic stirred through - not proper dianne sauce at all.

Ambience:
It truly is a beautiful setting, however people often walked through the restaurant's alfreso setting to get here or there and no matter how pretty the view, being jostled by people isn't my idea of fun.

Service:
We had a reservation, so when they asked and I gave them my name, they took about 5 minutes at the bar trying to sort it out, despite the fact my name was on the list. I eventually had to point it out to them.

Secondly, our waiter paid very little attention to our table, despite the restaurant being practically empty. It took a fair amount of effort just to have our orders taken, and we sat with empty plates and glasses in front of us for ten minutes, whilst he stood around chatting, before they were cleared away/filled.

Value:
Considering the food was overcooked and the bad service, the prices they charge are completely unreasonable.

All in all, we won't be returning nor recommending the venue.

Went there while waiting for the ferry with 3 others (including 2 tourists). We wanted 4 coffees and something to nibble on while we waited (1 1/2 hours). We seated ourselves outside and waited for the menus to arrive... 10 minutes went by and no attention. So one of us went to get the menu and was told that they will bring it to us in a tick so came back. Waited another 5-10 mins... nothing... so she went and got the menus for us. Then she went up again in a while to tell them we were ready to order and after another 10 mins someone arrived to take our order.

Then we waited and waited... It took us around 1/2 hour to place an order but we thought we still have nearly an hour left. However further 45 mins later we still hadn't been served. There were promptings and inquiries made in between at the main counter for our coffees and wedges. Finally we had to cancel our order and no one apologised to us for wasting 1hr and 15mins of our time. One it was really atrocious service. Two, I am just so embarrassed to have had taken the two overseas tourists with us.

Went there with friends after finding it on Eatability. We were pleasantly surprised. A real find in the hustle of Parramatta. Quite near the river, great location. Food was very good and staff attentive. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Great ambience.

Went for Christmas dinner celebrations with 16 work colleagues and had the $50 middle eastern banquet. Absolutely fabulous food and way too much. Very attentive service and good value for money. Will look at booking another function there again.

Agree with the rating saying that they cannot say a bad word about this place. It was excellent.

The food was awesome, homestyle with great portions and lots flavour. The service was brilliant. They could not do enough for us. Interesting wine list without being flashy. Very reasonable for what we had. Will be going back here for sure.

I cannot say a bad word about this place. Went there last night. It was a work function with 17 of us. I was picking up the bill so had read previous reviews. Was not keen to go but staff assured me they had dined there and it was excellent. Well they were not wrong.

The food was awesome. We all ordered different meals and everyone Loved their meals(including me). We all had entrees mains and desserts and a fair amount of drinks. The service was brilliant. They could not do enough for us. Last of all when I got the bill I was pleasantly surprised. Very reasonable for what we had. Will be going back here for sure as will all that dined with us. Oh yes one negative toilets are not great.

Four of us dined here on a Tuesday evening. They were quiet (only about four other tables being served) but the service was only ordinary. No water carafe on the table, the dessert menu was offered immediately after we'd finished out mains and although there was no overt behaviour along these lines, we got the definite impression that they were keen for us to eat up and leave.

Our main gripe, however, was that one of our number has a gluten intolerance. Neither the waiter nor the chef were sure which meals were gluten free and, having established that a diner required a gluten free meal, no attempt was made to ascertain beforehand which desserts would be Ok for her to order.

Had a work function, lunch at the Port Bar to send off a work colleague. $50-00 per head banquet. Have to say the food was only average in my opinion. The function was fine and we had an enjoyable afternoon but slightly disappointed with the food considering the price. Probably won't go back but in fairness probably better to judge the place when enjoying a meal from the menu rather than the overpriced banquet.
