The food is superb. Probably the best Thai I've eaten in Sydney. The chicken skewers are to die for. Highly recommended.

What a great place! We headed to Balmain to try this place last night (after reading the reviews on here) and were not disappointed. Offering a comfortable atmosphere and attentive service this was a great experience. The menu is different which is great and the food was light and flavoursome. We tried the banana flower salad, rice crepes, chili beef, masaman lamb and the lemongrass chicken skewers, we enjoyed all of them.

Left there feeling content, a little more pricey than your run of the mill thai but well worth it. Highly recommended.

We have eaten at Pomegranate a couple of times now, both times very impressed. Particular mention goes to the duck curry, it's succulent, lean and carved in front of you, addictive! The steamed violet dumplings have an unique texture and flavour, a must try. The service here is attentive without being intrusive and dishes great value for money. A Balmain's gem!

Went on a Friday for dinner. Food was excellent except for the pork belly which was crispy rather than succulent. However, it was still tasty. Service was good rather than great. Would recommend it.

Great quality food, very noisy fri and sat. Good service. A bit on the expensive side but a nice place to go for a special night out.

Enjoyed this meal a great deal. At the quieter end of Darling St so easier parking. Just popped in for a quick after work dinner, so probably didn't do the menu justice, but enjoyed nevertheless.

Congratulations to Pom for her superb Choor muang (steamed violet dumpling with minced fish), Wing bean salad and crispy pork belly with Tae pho curry of lime and siamese watercress (gang goong). The hot, sweet, sour, salty, bitter and a few flavours yet unmapped make the food at this tiny eatery addictive.

Having been off Thai for a good while, my palate for the cuisine has been peaked by visits to Pomegranate and Spice I Am. Visited Pomegranate last night and the food was top notch. Tried the prawn and pomelo salad, violet dumplings, crispy quail, crisp pork belly with curry sauce and banana flower salad. All very tasty dishes, although the banana flower dish was a touch over-seasoned. We took a Mt Difficulty Pinot Gris and Farr Rising Pinot Noir, both of which were great matches with the food. Will be back.
