Great food, nice decor but a very unhappy waitress? Considering we were one of only two occupied tables, you would think that we would have pleasant service. Having said that, I still wouldn't mind going again.

The noise level made it near impossible to talk and completely ruined the meal.
There is absolutely no soft furnishings in the place to deaden sound. All 4 of us have been there before but not when it was as busy. We will not be going back, it was horrible. Maybe take away?

We went here with a scoopon voucher. Stay away.

The mains are entree sized, the food itself is extremely bland. Any other random Thai place I have dined at exceeds the taste of any of this places' dishes. The entree's are tiny, and average at $8. Nothing worth nothing.

The mains, besides their small size average at $17. The quality of this place made me not want to even finish the dish. The decorations of this place are annoying, with a TV monitor blazing random footage of Thai places, with Orange walls superimposed against Blue walls. I believe this place overachieves in presentation and overdoes it and vastly underachieves in taste. I would be embarrassed if I worked here.

For those who were suckered into getting the scoopon deal, good luck.

What a cosy, warm, calming place. Been here twice now and have thoroughly enjoyed the food, appreciated the relaxed but attentive service and chilled in the tasteful decor. The meals are typical thai flavours served with a bit of western flair, generous in size and very reasonably priced. Very good experience and highly recommended. Well done.

Very very impressed. Best yellow curry I'd had in a long while. Food very fresh + cooked perfectly + not too sweet. The service was very friendly. The ambience was great; very relaxing and comfortable. Will definitely come back!

Pla Two is an amazing thai restaurant with great service. We are regualar diners and a note to everyone we love the Yum woon sen, its not too sweet and sugary like other thai restaurant an absolute must if you dine at Pla Two!
I Have to make note that the staff are always attentive and polite definitely the best service.

Our favourite dishes are the chilli Jam and Cashew nut crispy eggplant, crab fry rice and fish jungle curry. Don't froget to try their desserts the sticky rice is Divine.

We used our Scoopon special deal for the dinner. The meals was nicely presented, with fresh vegetable, ambience was nice. However, the service was horrible. Our waitress was impatient, told us she will be back to inform us what fish they used on their fish curry. Never got back to us, restaurant had 6 people. Disappointing.

We ordered 2 fried ice cream. The ice cream inside was melted, we asked the waitress this isn't fried ice cream. She informed us, when you fry it in the frier it would melt?

I've had many experiences with fried ice cream, never melted. I am disappointed considering the fried ice cream cost $6.90! The most expensive part of the night. Personally, I'll never be going back here again. Worse thai experience so far at this restaurant.

Wow, what a find! Great Thai food while not being that overly expensive.
Layout of the restaurant has that nice, cosy feel to it, while the service is always friendly as well. Cashew chicken was a big favorite, while the sticky rice with custard took out the number one honors here! Must try for Great Thai food as it's not as full on as at Newtown.

I went to Pla Two tonight with my family for dinner and it was fabulous! For entrees, we ordered a variety of fried and deep fried food, satay chicken skewers, curry puffs, thai chicken wings, thai fish cakes, golden prawns and fresh spring rolls. My favourite was the satay chicken skewers because the satay sauce was done so well.

For the mains, we ordered barbeque pork, barbeque prawn, panang curry, crispy chicken with cashew nuts, pla sam rod fish fillet and soft shell crab. My family enjoyed the soft shell crab a lot and thought it was amazing (I don't eat seafood). As I have a sweet tooth, I thought the panang curry really hit the spot. It was sweet but not Too sweet that it was sickening. I also enjoyed the crispy chicken with cashew nuts but I thought after a few pieces, the chilli jam got too strong. All the mains come with a generous serving of vegetables.

We also ordered two salads, yum woon sen and roasted duck salad. I loved the lemon based sauce with boiled vermicelli for the yum woon sen. However, I thought the roasted duck salad had too much vegetables and not enough duck.

For dessert, we had sticky rice with mango, sticky rice with custard and deep fried ice cream. The desserts were very satisfying but the sticky rice with custard stood out the most as we have never had thai custard before.

Overall, we had a very joyful evening. The service was great, staff were attentive and the food was served at the right pace. I highly recommend this place!

I was lucky enough to eat at Pla Two Thai last weekend and was more than impressed. The restaurant has a quality Thai ambience, with lovely decor and comfortable seating. The food was just as good presenting an amazing array of quality flavours and traditional dishes. The staff were equally as impressive making us feel immediately welcome and comfortable.

I can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good quality and friendly Thai dining experience.
