The food in this establishement is so tasty and very generous in size. The prices are reasonable and the decor is pleasant. Customer service is great and very helpful and the food service is quick.
Now that they've got an eftpos machine, this place is set. I haven't tasted other establishments that has a better salt and pepper tofu dish, and their crispy noodles are unforgettable. Try the grass jelly with coconut milk drink too. It's different but so refreshing and very filling. The new location is also great, being away from the hectic shopping areas.
The food here is all delicious and at great prices. I think they could do a little more to the interior though to make it more appealing. Service was slow but all the staff are friendly.
There are no place I can find that has Nam Veng noodles (I bet other places will call the noodles another name) the way they used to make it 20 years ago, and I love it!! The taste of these noodles just brings back memories of my childhood!! Its 99% of what I order there when I eat, so its hard for me to judge the other dishes but my friends like it too.
UPDATE: they have moved to another location recently, near the Roxy and they no longer have Nam Veng Noodles.
I love this place! The laksa is divine and extremely authentic. The hainen chicken is also delicious and as good as my mothers! I've only just found this gem in Parramatta but have already been there 3 times in one week! I'm not sure why others have written that the service is terrible as I have always found the opposite to be true.
The staff there are always friendly and very helpful with a smile on their face. The prices are a bit more pricey than some of the other restaurants in the area, but as the decor is much nicer, I don't mind paying a bit extra. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
The PHO tastes very nice, and is always consistent in quality. The servings are Very small which leads me to imagine that many will be forced to order the PHO with extra noodles. Of course, this will cost extra and for $10, many restaurants can do better in Parramatta.
This place is the definition for consistency! I've been coming here for over 10 years and I really have no complaints.. just don't expect friendly service, that's not to say they are not friendly but a smile wouldn't hurt!...you get in, eat, chat for a bit maybe and then leave!
I've settled on my fave dishes which rotate around char grilled porkchops with tomato rice, crispy chicken with tomato rice, duck noodle soup, special beef noodle soup and fresh rice paper rolls... the price is cheap and the food decent, they have renovated once and that was due to a fire, although the decore and ambience is not the best, it is still one of the better Vietnamese places in Parramatta.
I went here with my fiance's family and the food was great, except I suspect they use a little too much MSG in their cooking because I felt sick in the tummy afterwards (as I do after having MSG-ridden meals). I'd go back again.

For the best pho in Parramatta, Pho Ben is the place. The owners are really friendly and helpful, and the service is great. They've recently renovated and the restaurant has improved a lot. Still a cheapy so don't expect a fancy restaurant.
Whenever I go, I can't seem to get past the special beef noodle soup so I have that and the ice kachang. Highly recommended.
Have been there many times over the years and will continue to go back. Excellent food and brilliant service. Is always full of people many of who are regulars. I have friends that eat there twice a week on average - value for money is excellent. The staff bend over backwards to make your meal enjoyable.
