Amazing find, superb mellow coffee, wonderful home style food, generous and great value, soulful friendly vibe, great music, all at a fantastic cornershop/ park location, its like a dream!

The service here was terrible. Hot day and the workers were crouchy, the last thing you want when you're hot and bothered. The service totally threw my experience off. Was really looking forward to eating here especially with all the good reviews. Such a let down.

A pleasure to sit at this cafe... such a lovely spot that gets extremely busy on weekends so I would probably avoid it at these times which is why I visited on a delightfully sunny friday morning. A very chilled vibe with really pleasant and relaxed staff. The menu is really varied and caters for all tastes... there was so much on it I wanted to try... plus the homemade muffins and tarts looked fantastic! My friend had the benedict which looked amazing and tasted amazing by her regards. I had the corn fritters which they were happy to add a couple of poached eggs to... delicious! The flavours of their menu are very fresh and make you leave feeling satisfied and healthy... not all bogged down as some breakfasts can make you feel. The vintage plates and saucers add a lovely, homely touch to the experience. I will definitely be back... just maybe not on a weekend!

Have recently been to this cafe for lunch and breakfast, the atmosphere/decor is great, food was very fresh and tasty (had salmon and rosti salad, corn fritters and eggs and haloumi for breakfast) and service is prompt and friendly. Will definitely go back.

Love this place, can't wait to go back! Coffee is good too. Had the Victorian Eggs, didn't really like the chilli in it, but my friends' meals looked divine. Raspberry chocolate brownies are beautifully moist and the muffin tops are such a great idea, have to try one next time. Great quirky decor, lovely staff and quick service. In a lovely setting opposite a park, easy to find parking too!

I'm hesitant to say how wonderful this place is, as I don't want it to be over run, but it is. We need more cafes like this in and around Newtown (ones OFF King Street). This place is lovely, quirky, trendy (without the attitude), friendly, beside Enmore park, quiet and the food and service is great. What more can I say, it's my favourite breakfast cafe place.
