After going to Peronis for sometime, about 5 years, I have to say that it remains one of my favourite destinations for eating out, for a family event, or just me and my partner. The venue, doesn't suffer over crowding, its not noisy and the interior decor is of a high standard, no dirty floors or toilets either.
Food wise, the menu has changed overtime, but I can't say it has ever gone backwards. Our meals were well prepared, tasty and of reasonable size and price and balanced with other meals in a rather flowing manner. Although not a regular drinker, I found the wine list compatible with the meals, and pricing reasonable also. I think the service is good, attentive waitering was appreciated, but not overbearing.
At days end, its a likeable venue that can cater for a variety of situations and parking is just out the front too.

Service was ok from staff. Kitchen was offensively slow. A group of 12 with some young children. Besides a 630pm booking, didn't see mains before 8. Children were asleep before they could eat. Meals were average and cold. Had to be sent back several times to be heated. For what is a simple menu, very unimpressive. Definitely won't be returning. Many other more impressive experiences in the area.

Had beef risotto for entree which was nice but beef was a little chewy. Mains were cooked well but lacked any special flavour. I understand that the meat in the dish is the main attraction but it should be accompanied by some Vegetables or sauce of a little more substance. Just didn't have that wow factor that would make you want to come back.
Not hard to make decent mash potato but they failed at that. Can get a bit loud in the outside area so avoid if you want a quiet space.
Avoid this place if you are a vegetarian as there is nothing to choose from.
Staff were a little too casual with their service styles, could do with some more training on how to properly perform table service.

Very glad we tried Peronis as we feel we have somewhere of extremely high quality to go to in the Greater West. Pork belly entree was sublime, the fish mains I had was totally succulent. Massive wine list and after dining so often in the inner east and west, it was great to have a bit of leg-room. This is Parramatta dining for people from the inner-city, an oasis of charm, quality and particularly well cooked food.

Peronis Restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Parramatta. I was there last Saturday with friends and we all had different meals from the a la carte menu. One word to describe the experience would be Perfect.
The desserts were sensational, especially the Tiramisu and Creme Brulee. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back.

Visited here for a business lunch. Lovely old converted home with beautiful original features. Menu was simple but choice was reasonable, wine selection good. The food was basically presented but nice flavours with the steak cooked as ordered.

Our company has previously entertained our clients and staff members at Peronis, and it has always been nice. Last week, we had our staff Christmas party - 14 people. We preordered food off the al a carte menu, to ensure the restaurant staff had sufficient notice, and weren't too rushed.
We arrived at the restaurant, and 1/2 our table ordered drinks, the other 1/2 were never asked. I had to follow up with 2 different waiters. We received our drinks, without straws. Throughout the whole lunch we were pouring our own wines. Absolutely no table service at all.
We received our entrees, a member of our party commented that the Haloumi she had ordered was overly hard and extremely salty (and yes, we realise that Haloumi is naturally salty, but this was extreme). As we told the waiter, he went and told the kitchen staff, we watched, as the kitchen staff laughed, gave our table a filthy look, and sent the waiter back. The waiter said "That's just how it is", and continued to laugh in our face.
The rest of the meal we had sub-par service and to be quite honest, the food was very disappointing compared to previous times we had been there. I would recommend taking no more than a group of 4 people, and to never pre-order your dishes.
To top it all off, we were not compensated for the failed dish, which was left uneaten. Like I said, we just got a laugh. There are plenty of nicer restaurants in the Parramatta/Harris Park area, which value their patrons, and particularly go out of their way when you are celebrating a special occasion, certainly not like Peronis.

When I want a big serve of great-tasting Italian food to impress my clients who are all pretty blokey (mining industry) this is the place I take them. No-one has ever had the slightest complaint, and in fact my clients usually ask to be taken back here. If you have a table full of blokes in ties, you can relax as long as half of them have ordered the veal, it means you'll get the deal done. Massive wine list as well and for those who can squeeze dessert in, the tiramisu and creme brulee finish everyone off. And for those who don't know Bill the owner, if he's ever a bit difficult, that's his sense of humour - just give him flack back, he loves it!
