Very good service since under new management they are warm and welcome families and parties. The new decor has done wonders for the place. The head chef (who has been working there for 5 years since I been a regular) makes excellent stir fry's my favorite being the Phat-thai noodles that I think is better then in Thailand and the home made sping-rolls are a must if you visit. All in all a good night out.
The food is exceptional! Very good Thai dishes that will leave you wanting to lick the plate. The service is great, the hosts and waitstaff want you to have a good time and keep an eye on your table needs. I think the prices are very cheap, we always go with a crowd of 8-10 people and we all roll/waddle out for the low cost of $25-$30 per head. Very good value for money. We rarely look at the menu, instead we ask the staff to bring us entrees and main dishes, we have never had a dish that we didn't like. It's one of those restaurants that I'll keep coming back to as long as they are there. Highly Recommended.
We have been several times in the past but stopped going. When we heard there was new management, we decided to go back. Am glad we did. The service, food and general atmosphere has improved significantly. The host took time to talk to us and made us feel welcome. The food seems to be more Thai than before and the flavours were strong and varied.
I went to Pent Thai last Saturday night with a group of friends, a number of whom live nearby. The restaurant is under new management. The food was both delicious and there were generous serves. The restaurant was asked to provide a mix of entrees, mains, desserts and the selection was varied and delicious. They will make sure any dietary requirements are met if you want them to select for you. I cannot eat prawns so I was given an extra dish to make up for the many who love prawns.
The service was efficient and very friendly, and the wait staff looked charming in their Purple and gold Thai uniforms. The place was packed so yes it was a bit noisy but not so you could not hear your neighbours and this gave an extra buzz to the place. It is BYO and the total price per person was $26 before tips which I thought was great value. We had some big big eaters with us so most food was polished off but the servings were very generous. All in all a top experience.
Decent red curry and noodles dishes. Otherwise, seems slightly overpriced for pretty middle-of-the-road thai food. Also quite cramped and indifferent waiters. Much better thai places around!
Went here a month or so ago. Quite disappointed. Came highly recommended by a friend. Not sure whether it's because of the dishes we order, but nothing was spicy at all? I thought this was a Thai restaurant. Every dish we ordered was so sweet, my partner and I had a headache from them afterwards. Dessert although looked good, we were too sugared up from the mains to order any. I guess this is one restaurant that is catered for the local Australian taste palate.
