Having moved from newtown, the home of Campos, to mosman, I thought I'd never find as good a coffee hit. But the Penny Royal delivers in spades. Every time I've been there the coffee has been spot on, had both skim lattes and flat whites and they are both excellent. The staff are down to earth and they make an effort to remember your name.

Love The Penny Royal... it is my morning stop! The coffee is always consistent no matter who makes it. They use Campos coffee which is really good and a favourite but I must admit it is largely due to the staff that work there as I have had a bad campos coffee but never at the Penny Royal! Love It!

Def best coffee, sweet and creamy. I'm addicted! I would say this is the only place that serves in coffee in all of Mosman. Staff are friendly too.

I totally agree with the comments for Penny Royal! I'm no coffee drinker but have to say the barista does a very good job making pretty damn good coffee. So good I now have to have a regular mocca every time I go there on fridays!

Recently discovered the Penny Royal and am disappointed I haven't known about it earlier! The place has a really social feel about it considering the size. The guys that run the place look after everyone and seem to have a big base of regulars which is always a good sign.

Am a barista myself and was more than impressed with the coffee, the best coffee I've had this side of the bridge. Love the ambience and the positioning of the place is perfect.

This place serves the best coffee in Mosman, probably the best on the North Shore and would be sure to make the top 10 coffee houses in NSW. My usual double machiato is just as I like it with the flavour of the coffee dominating, good crema and a perfect pour.

The barista's are consistent and service is prompt. My only gripe with this place is that it does not open on a Sunday. I appreciate the lifestyle choice behind the decision but would kill for a Penny Royal on a Sunday morning!

This is the best cafe in the area without a doubt. Very small but with plenty of character and atmosphere, and comfortable seating outside. You must check it out!
