Dropped in to pick up two charcoal chickens for a picnic we were heading to with friends. What a pleasant surprise! The chicken was succulent and tasty with that delectable charcoal smokiness. Even after reheating the left overs in the oven the following day, the breast particularly was still tender and flavoursome without the dreaded dry stringiness characteristic of chicken breast.

Service was friendly and helpful. Sure, it's just a take away chicken joint, but so glad to have found a local for good quality, tasty BBQ chook! Forget Wild Caktus, this is the place to get your chicken!

I bypass many a chicken shop in my immediate area to go to this place. I've been going there for well over 10 years. Charcoal pack is the best. There's just something about Charcoal chicken (as opposed to radiant heat etc) that is just so much better. Represents pretty good value too.

Okay, its just a BBQ chicken shop... but the chicken is fabulous. The friendly service is also great.

My younger brother and sister regularly stop in for chicken and chips, bringing it home for the family to share. We've had the chicken at many family parties and guest always comment on the great quality.

I wish they closed down earlier each day, so that I wouldn't need to smell the fabulous cooking fumes as I walk pass in the evenings to go to the gym.
