High quality, great dishes to choose from. The pastry with Lab, Duck and Cauliflower puree sauce plus Chocolate Mousse dessert is highly recommended. I believe they use high quality ingredients in their cooking, foods taste fresh and clean.

By the way, I usually never like to order Chocolate Mousse but Pazzo has changed my mind. It was the first time for a very long time that I was ever really enjoyed a Chocolate Mousse. It didn't taste oily like other restaurants I've tried in the past. Here at Pazzo it's wonderfully balanced and taste intensified. In previous time I took a group of 20 people to Pazzo and everyone was very impressed with the quality and quantity of foods and most of all the service.

Very disappointing. Was recommended for a good place to catch up with friends, 15 of us. Had the Tuscan Tasting menu. Food was average, gnocchi very rubbery, tuscan chicken boring, lots of bread and potatoes to fill us up. Service was lacking and then was asked for a tip when leaving, sorry guys you didn't deserve a tip. Would not recommend for a large group.

I have been a customer to Pazzo restaurant regularly for the past 4 years, and my partner and I are always very satisfied with our experience. We love the weekly specials, as it is a nice alternative to the a la carte menu, especially the fish of the day. I prefer a quieter meal, mid week, and we tend to always book for special occasions that fall on a weekend as they can book out if larger tables are booked. Service from the waitstaff is welcoming and helpful. We recommend to all our friends.

I dined here last Saturday night on a recommendation and had the best dining experience, the service was unfaultable, the food delectable, a big compliment to the chef, Raffaelle welcoming and professional, with this quality I can understand why they book out for a length of time. I recommend you book soon you won't regret it.

We had a group of 24 and booked the Ist floor. We predelivered BYO and beer/wine chilled before our arrival by Pazzo. Service fantastic, dedicated waiter Tim fantastic. Food tasty and plenty of it.

I agree with everyone else here, the service certainly leaves something to be desired. However, thanks to my lovely dining companion, we managed to make a joke of the whole situation and thus salvage what was otherwise a tasty meal. The pappardelle (which we ordered entree size) was slightly overcooked, but the sauce was quite nice. The stuffed mushrooms were pleasant punches of flavour. The lamb shank was not outstanding, but at least it was not dry.

The standout was the pork fillet crumbed with bread and herbs, pan fried, tomato relish, and roast sweet potato, a real winner! We fought over it with our eyes and mouths. Dessert was scrumptious, we had the tiramisu and warm flourless chocolate cake. Both were amazing! A great meal, compliments to the kitchen, shame about the service.

Scoopon holders please stop complaining about getting poor food and indifferent service. I didn't have a Scoopon and I got the same treatment so this an equal opportunity restaurant, Everyone gets treated equally badly. The fact that this place is still in business is proof that there’s no shortage of people who want to eat bad food in Surry Hills.

Dined here on a Scoopon voucher some weeks ago. Was put on a 'waiting list' similar to previous comments by Scoopon users. Pazzo was kind enough to offer us a Thursday night.

We had the Antipasto tasting plate, which were all quite enjoyable on the palate. I had the Braised Lamb shank which was somewhat not to my palate, but nonetheless tender. Worthy of an honorary mention was my partner's "Mamma's Ravioli" (Pumpkin Ravioli) which was absolutely outstanding and highly recommended for all prospective diners. We also had the dessert tasting plate, and the desserts were of an average standard.

Service was reasonable and we certainly did not feel like we were treated like second class citizens. The restaurant itself is quite cosy and the ambience was reasonable. It's unfortunate that other Scoopon users missed out, and they had such bad experiences.

Dined here on a Thursday night using our Scoopon. Raffaele was kind enough to allow us to use it after it had expired, as we had been unable to book tables before the expiry date. The arancini balls and mushrooms with ricotta we had for entree were delicious and started the night off well. The chicken I had for main, however, was dry but my partner enjoyed his lamb shank. The warm flourless chocolate and walnut cake was divine and the rhubarb and pear crumble was also quite good, although we were disappointed that the profiterole dessert on their online menu was no longer available.

To those people who did not get to use their Scoopon, call the restaurant and speak to Raffaele. He was very understanding of our situation. We also did not feel like we were treated any differently to the full paying diners.
