This place is one of a kind. I have been to Vietnam and the food here is the closest to the real thing I have found. The beef pho is awesome, especially on a cold day, but my fave is definitely the Pork vermicelli noodles, one of my favourite lunches in Syndey! Everyone come here for the amazing cheap authentic food, not the ambience or the service.
One of the best Vietnamese in Australia. Incredible service. Their Pho is amazingly incredible, the beef is very nice and soft (I think they are using wagyu), the ambience is good. Service is particularly welcoming, especially from the uncle there. Ask to be seated near the kitchen where it looks cleaner.
Cheap and tasty pho, very nice broth and tender meat. Great value. Cleanliness or aesthetics are not the parts of their business plan at the moment. Service is not either. After being seated at a dirty table, we did not recieve any tea or menus until I grabbed a staff member 5 mins later.
There are many other Viet pho places nearby which are much cleaner and have a new fitout which I prefer. The one on Quay St is best overall. Only came here because the other place was closed. Won't be back.
Authentic, delicious, fresh Vietnamese served in a no-fuss way. Service was prompt despite it being busy and staff were friendly. No thought has been put into the decor and the resturant has a canteen type atmosphere... but to focus on the decor would be to miss the point.
Top grub at rock bottom prices. I'd definately go back.
Service is good with the wait staff being helpful if you don't speak Vietnamese. I ordered the pho and was a little disappointed that the soup base was quite average. Probably not a place I'd rush back to.
Prompt service and the waiter (Michael) always welcome you in your language (I wonder how many language he can speak). To be sure, go for number two, special beef noodle. It's the best in Sydney and it under $10. Great value!
