Had my birthday dinner here, large group of 20 people. We were seated in a separate area upstairs. The owner was lovely and super helpful. We opted for the $40 set menu which included heaps of different breads, 3 choices of pasta, different salads, a veal and chicken main with vegies and coffee or gelato. Such good value!

The food was delicious and everyone liked it. The venue was good as well, they could have lit the candles and I had to ask for wine glasses to be brought up (they do BYO with a $2 corkage) but their friendly waitresses and the helpful owner made up for this.

I would absolutely recommend this venue for anyone who wants to have a nice birthday dinner with good food for good value. Will definitely come here again!

Brilliant food, the handmade pasta was wonderful. I had the pumpkin ravioli and my wife had the Osso Bucco cannelloni which I stole a bite of. We would have loved to have stayed for dessert but we couldn't find the room. We'll definitely be back. The service was fast and friendly.

Lovely traditional Italian dining experience. Food is brilliant and the staff are very personable and attentive. Good value for money and byo which is great. Highly recommend and will def go back when next in Sydney.

The pasta here is just the best and they have an excellent variety. We went here in a big group and everyone was very happy with their mains. I had the pumpkin ravioli from the specials menu and have to say it was one of the freshest and best I have had.

Tiramisu was excellent, some others on our table had the sticky date pudding which was no where as good as the tiramisu. The staff were friendly, they got some of the next tables (also a big group) orders mixed up but were very quick to correct it. Being 2 big groups in the restaurant, the food took a while to come but the quality of the food was worth the wait! Will be back to try some of the other dishes!

Went with friends because it had child friendly policy as well as hand made pasta. We were really happy with the food and the personalised service we received. We had two crying children with us but the staff and the owner was very accommodating. I can recommend this place to anyone but especially to those who like hand made pasta. It was delicious.

I had only just discovered this restaurant tonight and I am loving it! I was so impressed by its food, that I know I'm going to be a frequent. At first, I was a little hesitant to go in for dinner as the front was very plain and did not seem like it would suffice for the date I was on, however, we were surprised to find they had a room behind. It was so lovely and peaceful, and their carbonara was the best I've had, hands down!

Had a lovely evening here at pastabella recently. While the front looks like a takeout/gelato bar, we were pleasantly surprised to find a nice dining area out the back. Food was lovely and filling, felt really home made, and the staff were very warm. Only small disappointment was the meat balls which had way too much breadcrumbs in it.

We have been going to this restaurant (we are only the country visitors and only go there once or twice a year) for many years and it was always good, but I found it improved a lot this year (the menu and the service). I loved the meal so much and I had difficulty walking back to my accommodation though. Thanks heaps.

Recently discovered this restaurant and have been back a few times. Seems to be a family run operation that delivers yummy homestyle Italian food. Last time there I had Barramundi which was just divine!!! I'm a fan of tiramisu and I must say the ones I've had have been just beautiful. Each pasta I have had has been really nice (loved the ravioli stuffed with prawn, spinach and other yum things)and you can tell its freshly made. A good casual dining atmosphere with staff being really friendly and attentive. This is not a fine dining establishment and I don't think they're trying to be either. Worth a visit.
