Used to go here in the 80s when it was good & cheap. Recently went again & what a shock. The food is now very average and ridiculously overpriced. The decor is still quite nice but you can't eat the decor. How are the mighty fallen. Stay away.

Food very ordinary, quite tasteless. Very overpriced, would never go back. Felt sorry for the belly-dancer, she tried to inject some life into the evening, but I think everyone was wishing they had stayed home and made a toasted sandwich (like we were).

Food was great and the setting very authentic. The belly dancers made for some fun more especially if you're with a larger group of people.

We are still fuming over this restaurant. The best thing was the male belly dancer and the ambience. Very overpriced for value and service was insipid.

The atmosphere was nice, but the food was terrible. I had had invited some friends to this restaurant, thinking that it looks like they pay attention to detail. But the food was absolute crap, it was really embarrassing.

While this restaurant has a great atmoshere, the food was nasty. The entrée dips were pretty mediocre. Then I ordered the Eskandar kabab as a main, this was listed as the house special, and the waitress assured me that it was really nice. It was absolutely awful. The meat was really dry, and lacking in flavour, and the whole dish was drowned in plain tomato sauce. This has been the most disappointing food I've had in many years.

The only thing that was a negative was the table right near the kitchen service area, of course this meant food was delivered fresh, hot and delicious.

Male Belly Dancer was a real treat to the ladies (and some gents) alike.

Chicken melts in your mouth, creamy lamb and tomato dish is to die for. Book with a table of 4+ for the Banquet option, we did and ended up rolling out of there 3hrs later completely stuffed!

Fantastic decor, but the food was fairly average. I didn't like the cuts of chicken they used, thigh meat was very chewy and fatty. Menu wasn't very exciting. The service was very friendly and prompt.
