    I might have had somewhat higher expectations, built up because I have wanted to get here for so long, as Paolo's is one of the longest running restaurants in the Drummoyne area, but our experience here was to receive somewhat haphazard but still friendly enough service, a very long wait for our food, being a salad and a couple of pizzas and they were fairly up there in price for what was a relatively ordinary flavour of pizza.

    The Italian salad was based on iceberg lettuce with a smattering of olives, tomato and cucumber in a vinegarette dressing. Generally I think iceberg has no place in an Italian salad and should be reserved only for burgers or kebabs, so no winners there either.

    It was quite busy, but not full for a Friday night, and I must say seeing some of the pasta dishes go around, the servings there were huge. It is BYO beer and wine. But at the end of the day, I was there for a tasty pizza meal and left a little disappointed. Hopefully your visit there fares a little better.

    Established pizza restaurant family run by owners since early 70's great value and home cooked italian meals, recommend pizza and lasagne.
