Have only been there a few times but can safely say it is the best Italian restaurant in Sydney. Never had a bad dish, they have great specials and the service is excellent. Real family-run feel to the place (I believe our waiter was the son of the lady doing the cooking).
Also has a really relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, would be a good restaurant to take a date. Depending on what you order it could be an expensive meal, but you would not be disappointed.

The oldest original italian restaurant in Leichharst according to the owners and I can see why. Quality food at very non-Norton prices!

I have been going to this restaurant for 32 years (true). Food is excellent as is the friendly service.
Spaghetti Marinara is to die for. Highly recommended.

Traditional Italian food, always fantastic tastes and great portions - I always feel more than satisfied after eating here. The Rigatoni Taormina is a definite favourite. While the decor is simple, the food certainly makes up for it and considering the pretentiousness of other Italian restaurants in the area and the quality of food here, there really is no comparison.

There are a lot of diabolically bad Italian restaurants in Leichhardt but Pan Roma is not one of them. While the room itself is not that special, the food is authentic. Home style Italian cooking with a good range of regularly changing specials and well priced. Good value.

Excellent home style italian very good. Have a beer up the hill beforehand, with the cranky publican at The Taverners Hill Hotel.
