I went here last year for a pre-show meal with 2 friends. Almost no other diners at 6.15 pm but a solid performance all round. Great food, moderately expensive, quick service in light of us wanting to get out by 7.30 pm. It is a lovely, special location despite some of the chaos in the bar downstairs. Would probably be good for a function, too, since there are glimpses of the Rocks and Harbour.

We had a great meal tonight. The food was great and the service could not have been better. This is a piece of Sydney history succeeding in a modern world and well worth a visit.
