I can only vouch for this cafes takeaway coffee and it's fabulous. My favorite in paddington! But don't believe just me, it's a locals haunt as well!

We drive from Canberra on a regular basis (to eat Canberra food is generally overpriced and average, with a few exceptions Grandes in Manuka) and our first stop is always Alimentari, the food is wonderful the coffee the best the staff make you feel welcome and I love laraigne in fact I love Alimentari.

The food and atmosphere here in Paddington Alimentari is just meravigliosa. The setting is bellissimo, looking out to the apex of Hopetoun and William Sts. And the staff were attentive and helpful.

We ordered two salads: tuna and goats cheese and schnitzel and aioli. My tuna salad had the finest of ingredients, was the right size and drizzled with quality olive oil. (See my pic). My wife's schnitzel was succulent, soft and delizioso. She loved her meal.

Coffee brand is Allpress and the soy milk used is Bonsoy. So the coffee was perfetto. The cake selection looked very appealing. In fact, had we been able to, we would have fressed on one, or two. But alas the salads were huge and no room for dessert.

Aside from the table service, the restaurant also sells a selection of quality produce, pastas, olive oils, vinegars, condiments, sauces, breads. Rustically decorated, the venue looks like something from the Old Country. Will I return? Sicuramente and soon I hope. Well done!

Wow this was great, very real experience, great coffee and although not cheap you are totally pleased with what you get for what you pay. Will be back here, as we just moved in close by.

The coffee here is (ALLPRESS) the best in Paddington hands down! Laraine Russo is the closest thing to an Aus/Italian Glama Mama and always makes sure you're being looked after. The quality of the food is the highest and the deli counter makes me drool every time. If you're hosting a drinks party or just an after work gather get an antipasto platter made up, amazing cheeses and Chacuterie. The chicken schnitzel panini are at least a once a week lunch for me, only problem is too many people knowing its there!

An all time favourite, a tiny slice of Italy in Paddo! Lorraine and her team are divine, you'll quickly become one of the family if you come here regularly! Who cares if seating is limited, I stand to eat if need be, I love this place so much!

Although the seating is limited, the experience is always positive. The coffee is always great and there is a diverse range of fresh Italian food, ready-to-eat or for the pantry. After living in Italy it is nice to find somewhere in Australia that gives you all the best parts of Italy itself in one place.

It is like stepping into little Italy. It is classic Italian style cafe with great coffee, fresh tomato and basil bruschetta and friendly staff. Seating a bit limited though.

Like a little secret of Sydney, this corner deli/cafe is so cute and such a relaxing place to eat. I went there with a friend, it was great to get away from the busy crowds at the markets. Though be warned.. there is virtually no seating and space is limited.

At one point it looked like we were gonna be eating on the street. But all in all the food was excellent and really authentic.

Of course, Pinkporridge would say that! She works there!!....having said that, it's a great little local expresso bar. Consistently good coffee, great panino, lovely salads, great cupcakes. Just try to avoid the rush hour as it's a tiny space & that makes it hard to get a table.
