The best charcoal chicken ever, they have a real charcoal pit unlike the other places with gas ovens, these guys sweat it out sitting in the shop with a charcoal pit, as soon as you step outside the surry hills shopping village the amazing smell of burning charcoal hits your nose.

I got 8 chickens for a picnic and everyone was amazed and asking where I got these delicious chicken from, the brothers that work there are lovely to chat with, totally recommend this place, and encourage everyone to try.

Two words, people: Takeaway Ribs! Unless Takeaway is not one word, in which case, three words, people! Anyway. We've been here twice recently and will definitely be back again. The dudes who run this place are friendly and know what what they're doing. The first time we had a half rack of ribs, chips and chicken burger with salsa to go. The ribs were a bit dry on the end, but tender and juicy from there on in. Chips and burger were good. The second time we ate in on one of their benches. Our ribs were bought out on a silver plater, together with our chips and roast veges, plus plates and cutlery. It was awesome. Ribs were again good, the chips were crunchy, golden, and well chicken-salted (very important) and the veges were good, though a tad lukewarm. Overall, this is a great shop and I highly recommend it.

Yum! Went here on the recommendation of my brother. Had the full rack of pork ribs - amazing + Portuguese chicken, it was beautiful and moist. Chips were fresh cooked. The only downside was the roast veggies weren't great. But who's going for Veggies. The staff were very friendly (and I grilled them about their ribs). It is a take away joint but is spotlessly clean. Will be going again. Get the ribs - So good.

The food here was fantastic! Cheap and cheerful! really yummy Portuguese charcoal chicken and ribs! they make all their own sauces too, the boys were very friendly. I will definitely be making this a regular eating place!
