Great stop early on a Sunday morning on our way North. Coffee is simply wonderful (as everyone seems to know), bite to eat is, while modest, absolutely adequate and atmosphere suited as very well (I don't know why some people have a problem with locals feeling at home at their local place: we enjoyed the families with their kids just as we did the table with young girls).

One of my favourite cafes! The coffee is especially amazing and definitely my favourite within my area. The snacks that they have available are also an amazing treat as well!

The service is lacking. Although they have great friendly staff, you will often find yourself waiting long periods for your coffee or drinks to arrive. But it's worth the wait when they do!

The inside of the cafe is a little cramped, but the sitting area outside is also really nice! I love this cafe and one of my favourites!

Ok today I tried this one out and I gotta say. Coffee took ages and ages and ages, lol, but it was worth it, actually, so much so I had 3 and I've never done that. Food was great and creative as well, it was a bit noisy from a big bunch of school kids being too cool for school but I still got lost in the coffee. I don't think I'd make a special trip but every time I pass this way I will definitely grab a coffee in (and maybe a couple to go as well).

Pablo and Rusty's coffee is definitely in the top three best places to get coffee on the North Shore. At the moment the baristas working here have made exceptional coffees.

Whilst the food and coffee are exceptional the groups of 'kids' who congregate around the outside tables are rude and loud. I was trying to enjoy a nice quite coffee whilst waiting for my husband one afternoon, when every second word coming out of the kids next to me was a swear word, loud school kids should be banned!

Very very good coffee! Service patchy and the wait for the coffee can be a bit long but makes up by the quality of the coffee served. It's starting to look a bit tired inside and it is always messy, but we go there for the coffee almost every weekend.

I love Pablo and Rustys! It's my weekly hangout spots on a Friday afternoon.
Excellent coffee, although I truly recommend that if you can, get sit down coffee. They take longer to make and arrive, but it's worth the wait! Extra creamy cappuccino with a great flavour.

As I am Coeliac I do not eat much from there. Occasionally the nachos which are so good! The gluten free biscuits aren't bad, but no one can beat home made gluten free cookies. Cooking with gluten free materials is really an art!

Whilst I know the place gets crowded (as I said I go on Friday afternoon ) as one of those "Snobby private school brats". Yes I understand there are some terribly rude, inconsiderate school kids who go there but I'm not one of them. This is what Starbucks should have been (great coffee, nice atmosphere (when you get it quiet it's heaven!), great staff). It's easy to see why Pablo and Rustys is always busy!

Good place for takeaway coffee. Audience can be interesting, my impression of this place is similar to that of Fatpatty's. It seems like the sort of place where a crappy screenplay may be written on a Mac by a suffering artist.

Decent brew, I've never managed to have a bad coffee here, an average one once. Most of the many staff are sweet and efficient. The 'too cool for school' boys with their assorted facial piercings are always polite. I usually get takeaway because it's a very small place with limited seating. There are often lots of bratty schoolkids here but they usually sit outside checking out foot traffic. The snooty soccer mums inside are part of the local milieu.

The ham and cheese toasted sandwich is yummy and the croissants are also good, esp almond. Wish they were larger. N.B value: 7, by North Shore standards only!
