I love the corned beef, it melts in your mouth and the white sauce, so good. Pj's chefs certainly braise well, my friend had the lamb Shanks which fell off the bone. There is something warm and fuzzy about an Irish Pub and Pjs is certainly that.

Congratulations on being a fabulous Mother's Day Venue 2012. Wonderful food, excellent service and the gift candles were a lovely treat. Still my favourite pub all year round! Keep up the outstanding work Pj's.

P.s Love the much needed addition of a more Irish menu, corned beef and colcannon, to die for!

Quite surprised when I re-read my review from Aug 2009. We've been back a couple of times early this year, and my comments are quite different. I would say this is our local pub of choice for a quality meal. It is a little on the pricey side, unless you go mid-week and can order the special of the day. Also, the restaurant upstairs beats the dining area at the pub, but the food and prices are the same and you get table service (you just don't have the tab etc right in your face, but there is a tv upstairs).

We usually have a steak and chips or steak and vegetables, now you don't get both, so if you want both it is a bit expensive, but the steaks were cooked really well for a pub. The veggies and chips are also nicely done. They have a pretty good wine list, but the drinks are expensive. An enjoyable experience.

We eat here often and are always pleased. The food is good and recently the specials have been great, you cannot go past the Beef and Guinness Pie!

The girls are always helpful and happy, and make your evening a nice one! The wine list is a little pricey for what it is but overall a good eat and a pleasant atmosphere.

Went for a function on a packed Friday night. The food showed the strain of a busy kitchen as the quality deteriorated as the night went on. I'd be tempted to go back and see how they go on a quieter night, but considering the high prices I'm not sure it's worth it.

I am a local, and I always go there for a drink or something to eat. The food is very good great quality as in a restraunt but unfortunatly a little expesive for pub food but worth it for the quality. Being a bup it is a little loud but the service is good for a pub.

Went here for the first time tonight and was a little apprehensive after reading some of the reviews. We were pleasantly surprised. Service was friendly, except for the fellow who walked past us a couple of times when we were waiting to be seated. This was quickly forgotten when our mains arrived. We ordered the steak and guinness pie and lamb shanks - both delicious! A little pricey considering we were in a pub, but well worth it. We'll definitely be back!

It's pretty and warm and cozy but noisy on the weekends. I've only had one average meal there (ribs) but have ordered ribs since and they had improved. Best dishes? Blue cheese salad and the $18 Steak and Guinness Pie. Drinks are reasonable, and prices don't leave you broke. I'm a local and I go regularly.

This is a lovely pub, with great value meals and atmosphere. The guiness pies are the number one pick, although the arrival of the ribs is close competition. Great staff, always really helpful and smiling. Arrive from 7 pm onwards to avoid children.
