One of the best dining experiences we've had. Went early on a Saturday with no booking. Waiter was really helpful, suggested wine and an entree for us (we asked for suggestions on these). Both were super tasty.

Mains were awesome, lamb skarra was great. Portion size was pretty decent too. More great service and conversation throughout the meal. Sticky date pudding finished us off. Not the cheapest place, however, great service, good food and many more menu choices means we'll be back for sure!

The blue-eyed cod main dish (special of the day) was amazing. Chicken souvlaki very average. Service quite okay too.

What a great place. Manly needed one. Hearty, soulful and delicious food without waterfront prices. It is not cheap by any means but the location and authenticity justify somewhat higher price appetisers (mains are OK). We had giant Greek beans, sardines, pita, saganaki prawns and a shared main of duck roasted in figs. It was so satifsying. Can't wait till we go back! The wine list features Greek and Italian selections. There are also Greek beers which is great for those with adventurous tastes. Atmosphere is busy, slightly cramped but very welcoming - we were lucky to secure a table without a booking. A distinct Greek feel and very friendly management.

After years of trying to eat at this local restaurant my girlfriend and I finally did a few weeks ago, and were very impressed. Great food with good produce, we couldn't say a bad thing about it. Would recommend to a couple or a bigger group for sure. Enjoy.

Went to this restaurant yesterday with partner and a mate. Outstanding is the best way to describe our thoughts. Immediately building a fine rapport with our waiter or the day (the owner), we settled in by ordering a couple of quality ouzo's.

The food? Can I use the word outstanding again? Slow cooked lamb that literally fell of the bone when a fork was waved in her general direction, served with a side of beautiful roast potatoes that remind me of mum's cooking, or at least it might if I was Greek. The seafood lunch platter of tender calamari, battered fish, mussels and prawns were excellent. Flame grilled chicken shish kabobs done to perfection, and everything served with a satisfying range of dips, chips, bread, rice and wine.

Great drinks list also, if diners wish to stay with the Greek-Style theme, and the owner is only too happy to walk customers through the Mediterranean wines, beers and of course ouzo range.

For once in my bitter, cynical existence, I cannot find fault with anything. Great food, great service, great location. Tempted to mark it down a point simply because it's not near my home. As a non local, I can imagine us travelling to Manly again very soon.

We've eaten here 3 times in the last month or so (lunch and dinner). We've tried almost every dish on the menu now, lots of delicious veggie, seafood and meat dishes.

Had lunch on Saturday. Nice spot, food Ok but certainly not authentic Greek. (Cos lettuce is not a Greek salad ingredient). The dips were Coles specials and not worth $16.50 for three small dips and insufficient bread. The waiter was painfully nervous, inattentive and incompetent. There are younger and better staff in McDonalds. Two ladies had to go looking for him to get a menu and drinks. Kebabs and chips were good but its a nice place to spend an hour in the sun in Manly.

Our family of four booked into Ouzeria for dinner on a Wednesday night after reading a review of one of their dishes in a newspaper (SMH good food guide maybe?). We had walked past this place before on a Saturday mid-afternoon and it was packed so always thought it must be decent.

The interior is cosy and modern, with the traditional bright blue fitouts and modern greek style music playing in the background.

The owner was the waiter on the night we went, he was fantastic and made honest recommendations on what he believed the best dishes were and gave detailed explanations of each dish (some of the best service we have had in many years)!

Now to the food: We began with 3 entrees, traditional dolmades, a sardine dish and beautiful octopus with roast tomatoes and feta. All of these dishes were exquisite, particularly the octopus which the owner had recommended.

For mains, we ordered 2 of the slow cooked lamb shoulder that came with potatoes or greek salad, a lamb shank with pilaf, feta and tomato dish and lamb souvlaki with pita bread, tatziki, hommus and greek salad. Honestly, all of these meals were amazing, particularly the 2 lamb roasts which were huge and very tender.

All in all we were very pleased with all aspects of our night out, particularly the delicious food and great service. We have been to our fair share of greek restaurants over the years and this was by far one of the best, we will be returning!

Our meal for four including 3 entrees, 4 mains and a $30 bottle of wine came to $170 which we thought was very reasonable, especially for those special occasions!

Food was very nice! Owner was very attentive. We went for lunch sat outside, so beautiful and sunny across from Manly beach. I highly recommend this place will definitely be coming back here even though it's far from where we live it's well worth it!
