I thought I would give Otto Pezzi a try. It is rated highly so why not. It was a Wednesday night and we arrived at about 6. In about an hour, we could see how frantic they were. Take away, phone calls, deliveries and patrons. I think they needed just one more staff and they would be right. However, I think they were a bit run off their feet.

The food didn't take too long and it was ok, but not the best I have had. We had a pizza, which again was ok, but nothing special. We also had the lamb shanks, which were a bit bland. For the location, it is good, because there really is no other competition. But if you compare with some places in Leicchardt or Haberfield, it doesn't really match up.

Really good local pizzeria. The pizza's are great - most of the time. That is the only thing that's been a little disappointing about this place, I have found that the food is not consistent. Whilst it has never been bad, sometimes I get pizza from there and it's unbelievably good, and ever mouthful you think oh my god this is the best pizza ever. Base is perfect as are the cheese/toppings ratio. However I have ordered a few times and the pizza didn't taste that great at all. Whilst it was still edible, not as good as usual. It's only happened a few times, but none the less it's disappointing when it does happen. I do keep going back there though because when the pizza's are good, they are damn good! Last time I went I ordered 3 pizzas (2 on a bbq base) and they all came out on tomato so that was a little annoying, and it wasn't cheap at nearly $70 for the 3. But they did taste great so I didn't bother mentioning the sauce to them. I would recommend it, it's a good local little restaurant.

The best italian in Cabarita, Five Dock, Concord, Drummoyne and Leichardt. The pizza is divine and the pasta sublime. A family friendly restaurant run by a lovely couple. This small restaurant is a must to visit if you love italian food.

Pizzas to my mind are near the best in the inner west. Pizza chef Phil is one dedicated craftsman and the results are delicious. Don't expect the trumped up multi faceted eastern suburbs pizzas here, few ingredients, but fresh and of high quality. The base is cooked perfectly. My salad was very good and we were very happy with the night.

While it isn’t the prettiest place out there, Otto's pizza is spectacular and the service is warm and friendly. Using fresh ingredients and adding a big dollop of passion, Otto’s pizzas are innovative and delicious without being pretentious artworks. We are particularly fond of the Prosciutto pizza and the Eggplant pizza.

It’s a pretty basic cafe style setting, although it would be a fun place to sit for a few hours on a balmy evening. The wood fired pizza oven would also be nice on a cold winters night. While the pizzas are not technically cheap, they are excellent quality. If your idea of value for money is the largest lump of cheese, meat and dough you can get for $10 then this place isn’t for you.

Otto Pezzi has the best pizzas I have ever tasted and the service is lovely. The food is fantastic! This restaurant is definitely my favourite restaurant ever! The owners are very lovely people! They also have a nice area to sit outside. In winter you can choose to have a heater on if you are eating outside too.

We eat here quite regularly although we usually do take away pizza. The pizzas are the best in the area by far! was very disappointed when they were closed for holidays! we were thinking hurry up and open again! Have only eaten in once and everything was great.

This place has the best Pizza ever! My parents live nearby and I visit them more often from the city just to get take away from here. My favourite Pizza definitely worth trying.

The pizza is certainly ok but I don't think it lived up to the hype. Maybe my expectations were too high. The rocket salad was very bitter and the dressing killed any survivng tastebuds. I might give the restaurant another chance but I don't think it is worth going out of your way for.
