Food: excellent for a Pub, the Pork ribs were good but the Stir Fried Chicken were better thanks to the magnificent sauce. Nice multi-level space with screen to watch the footy.

Service was very slow, 30 minutes for the food to come out and very little personal touch from the staff. Value not so great with mains around $20.

This bar has some of the worst service I have encountered in Sydney. They refused to honor a 2 for 1 meal deal that they advertise on their website, had cockroaches running all over the tables and outside area, and had no interest in accomodating our compaints about the poor food and service. The manager essentially fobbed us off and had no interest in giving us the free meals we were entitled to. I will never spend money at this place again!

Came here impromptu on a Wednesday night during the coldest winter in history (it seems) but was heartily warmed up by their lambshanks and mash. It was beautifully presented - more on a restaurant level than a pub! It was quite a pleasurable surprise, and the taste did not disappoint. The mash sat in a cloud of a rich tomato sauce and the lamb shanks were tender and tasty. Only suggestion (not food related) is to buy new water glasses and jugs.

Organised and friendly. We arrived Friday lunch time. Place was packed with large work groups. Good amount of variety on the menu. Gluten free pizza was a hit. Service friendly, food was ready really quickly for such a crowd. Will return.

Went here on a Saturday night for a drink, a young crowd, not too busy. It reminded us of an RSL in that you could see a tv from every seat in the house. Plenty of space for smokers.

Being a local of chatswood I've watched the orchard change and change again their food hasn't always been the best but it just gets better and better with every visit the latest menu is great value and delicious especially their burgers, highly recommend great pub food.

The Orchard is open late, it has a good variety of cheap drinks and has a good ambience. I often go there, but last time they had a bouncer who should've been fired, watch out if you see this guy who's white, medium height, wearing a beanie and it looks like he's got a shaved head underneath.

I've only ordered food once which was wedges, they were ridiculously hot and they burnt my mouth. If they can't get those right, I don't want to try the rest of their food.

Well lit, polished timber floors and walls, recently renovated, flat screen TVs on the walls, large open plan area with a designated dining area and plenty of seating. Classier and less sleazy than your typical pub, a great place to go with friends for a drink. Definitely better than Monkey Bar down the street. However the food was terrible and overpriced. It cost $43 for one ravioli, one burger, one beer and one house wine.

My spinach and ricotta ravioli was the worst I've ever had. I was not anticipating fine dining in a pub but it was almost inedible. It was stone cold, very rubbery and no flavour. The only reason I may come back is for the ambience. I like the young, hip vibe and that it is generally filled with well-to-do, 20 to 30 year old guys and girls rather than older men.
