Fresh seafood orders are delivered straight to your plate for just a flat delivery fee of $8.00, anywhere in the eastern suburbs or the city. Delivery to the Inner West will commence in October 2009, and the North Shore by early 2010.

The One That Got Away
A Bondi institution since 1996, customers trek from all over the eastern suburbs for our fresh seafood. Now, we’re saving them the effort by bringing it straight to them every day of the week.
Simply visit www.theonethatgotaway.com.au and select your favourite seafood. If it’s in season, it’s on the menu. Succulent whole fish, tasty fillets, as well as lobsters, prawns, oysters and much more. It’s all here, complete with pictures and prices, along with some of our secret recipes.
It’s as fresh as it gets, because upon taking your order the seafood is then hand-picked that day from the Sydney Fish Markets. It’s processed in house, and delivered to your door, fresh not frozen, that same day. It’s securely packaged with the fish vacuum packed into soft esky bags with ice packs so that it all arrives sea fresh.
Best of all, it’s delivered straight to the plate for a flat delivery fee of $8.00, anywhere in the eastern suburbs or the city. We are shortly expanding delivery to the Inner West and the North Shore so stay tuned.

Good old fashion service and outstanding knowledge about the product. Had some fish and chips for lunch and was so impressed I order some fresh fish and mussels. Worth the visit.

Bought some mussel which were not that great or fresh. I have had the cooked fish before and they try to claim restaurant quality but it's far from that and too expensive.

Ordered takeaway food - took a while to cook. Which is fine, however, the oil must have been old as the food tasted metalic hallo even the hot chips!!!! - we all got the standard fish and chips and binned over half of it. gross! Have had other person after I mentioned this say the same thing! YURK!

Went back to get fresh seafood thinking they had a bad day with the hot food. Wanted fresh green prawns, the guy told me they only had frozen and that I needed to soak them in water for 10 mins!!! - went down the road to another fish shop who had loads of fresh prawns!!!!! they told me due to the rain there was heaps of fresh prawns! go figure! sorry but I am honest (won't be eating or buying from them again. Something seems not right.
