Great place for Sunday breakfast, food is always delicious and service exceptional. Staff always friendly.

We have also had dinner there and found it to be great value for money, large size meals. I had veal and my husband and step daughter both had pizzas that they both enjoyed.

Huge selection of sandwiches at affordable prices and the portions are sizeable making it great value, we enjoyed a selection of 6 dishes: Club sandwich, Egg & Bacon Roll, Beef Burger, Chicken Wrap, etc... all were great.

Nice Ambience on the outside of the shopping centre, comfortable seating. Decent service but not flash. Sandwiches are top value but the mains are not with prices matching expensive restaurants.

To begin with, I need to say that I am a customer. I have my morning coffees from there almost every week day. Service is great in the mornings.

On weekends, sometime my hubby and I also go there for breakfast. Service is just ok, most of the times, the waiting staff look overwhelmed, but they try hard.

Now, the bad review: The pizzas from hell. Order: two medium "gourmet" pizzas.
Price: $50 (inc soft drink). Delivery: 50 minutes (we live 400mts away).
When: Tuesday around 7pm.

Food: When one pays almost $25 per Medium pizza you expect quality, right? If you order from Olive Bar & Grill you are Wrong! The pizza I ordered was certainly the worst pizza I had in my life.

My problem with the pizza was that it looked and tasted like It had been done by a 8 year old kid.

It was messy, the ingredients were cuts in massive chunks (the eggplant, for example, was in thick lengthways slices of the size of my hand, rather than the conventional strips). Ah, but the best was the tomato: it was cut in quarters ... Seriously? The mini chef does not know how to slice vegetables yet? Of course, none of the vegetables were cooked properly and the eggplant was plain raw.

The ingredients were neither particularly fresh nor good quality. The whole pizza, due to the size of its 'contents' weighted double of one would expect. When you would serve a slice, a quarter of tomato would roll away, or the whole fillings for that slice would just slide from the slice due to their weight and mass.

It was lazy and it looked like no one put a thought into it before cooking it, it looked everything but a professional pizza. Taste was not that great either.

Look, I get it that it is up to the chef to decide on presentation of its food. But this, no... this was not a 'new approach to pizza', this is not a 'cafe' pizza. It is pure laziness and lack of professionalism of a kitchen staff that seems not to take pride of his work! Too lazy to slice the pizza contents, too lazy to think about how to cook the pizza ingredients before the order comes through, too lazy to make it quick, well, you are not good enough for me. Never again!

My husband's pizza was ok but he also likes pizzas from kebab shops.

The food at Olive is excellent! We had the steak and fish of the day and both have exceeded my expectations. My partner rates the steaks as one of the best. I had the salmon, and my partner had the scotch fillet. Both were cooked to perfection, and tasted divine. We shared the chocolate mouse, and it was beautiful. I think the prices are very good for the high quality of food and service they offer at olive... can't wait to return.

We ordered home delivery meal on Friday night, this was pizza, mushroom risotto, and seafood salad. The meals arrived promptly. After having had meals, in a few hours, we both started feeling really sick. Will never eat at Olive Bar and Grill.

An absolute shocker! The owner has real attitude and no idea what he is doing. He serves you garlic bread and then you have to get up and ask for plates. Then he brings you orange juice in takeaway coffee cups. When you ask for some real glasses he just almost throws them on the table and lets you pour the orange juice from one to the other. A real idiot with a chip on his shoulder. You will get my money no more. Don't go there! If I ran my business his way I would be ashamed.

Really nice place to have lunch. I went with a friend and we sat inside. I had a gourmet chicken turkish bread sandwich which was only $8.90 and tasted really nice. It came with a side salad as well. The staff are really friendly and it's a relaxing place.

The food was absolutely atrocious, I ordered a dory fillet with lemon butter dressing. What came was a clearly poor quality fillet with bones still in it, and the "lemon butter" was essentially a whole slab of butter melted onto the fish and reeking all throughout the mountain of rocket underneath. Also the antipasto plate we ordered was foul with stale bread, and pickled vegetables that were clearly past their best time.

Not to mention that they just shoved the mains in front of us even before we were done with entree. I don't understand how this restaurant can still be around, it's truly ridiculous.

My wife and I went to Olive on a Friday night looking for a nice, quiet meal. Appreciating that we did not make a booking, we turned up and were offered a table inside the restaurant (which was to be brought inside and inside the restaurant, it was quite noisy) or outside under a canopy essentially on the footpath. We sat outside due to the noise but spent the evening being smoked out by some teenagers who spent the evening swearing and being noisy themselves.

We ordered entrees, mains and drinks. The Meze Plate was tasty for entree and the mains arrived promptly. My wife's barramundi was very nice and my chilli prawns were tasty (although my main size meal looked almost like the entree size). Unfortunately, while we did get the water we asked for, the drinks we ordered never turned up. And, because of the teenagers outside, the wait staff rarely came out.

Eventually, we gave up on the drinks or the wait staff and I went in to pay. I asked for the bill and was verbally told a price. I asked specifically for what was on the bill and was told that the entree and the mains were on it. I paid, not knowing exactly how much the food items cost. I went outside to meet my wife who then, doing the maths and confirming with an outdoor menu, found that we had been charged for drinks we never received, even though I did ask what was on the bill.

We won't be going back. While the food was good, I prefer a restaurant which is honest as well as delivering good food.
