Friend of mine took me here, and I have no idea why... place was empty and it still took over 10min to get anyone's attention to get an order. Everything was very poor, food & coffee especially, service and atmosphere. Sorry to say, it is not recommended.

I love organic, they sell Pure Earth Products which I love. I have been in here many times, my favourite is either the kalamata pizza or creamy avo pasta. My friends love coming here as well, they love the atmosphere. We go and order great organic coffee and tea and can sit here for hours.

Had lunch here recently, nice hotcake/pancakes though surely it's possible to source organic maple syrup rather than the rice based stuff they use? Reasonable prices considering it's organic (which would be the main reason I'd go back).

Been to the Old Mans Hat 3 times now, its been great every time, very cheap considering the cost of organic food, the wraps are great, freshly baked, you got to try the casablanca wrap, its divine, also the pizzas are amazing, service good and coffee superb. Don't know what happened to clarkky below, maybe went on a bad day.

I've walked past here many times and always wondered why it was empty inside. Now I know why. The food is tasteless, bland, without flavour, no imagination, boring, badly presented and uninspired.

As I am a Glebe local I decided it would be nice to try this place for lunch with my sister under the impression of the other reviewers that this would be a real great idea. We ordered the seattle and acapulco wrap along with the caesar salad. The salad was marvelous with its sourdough croutons, however, when it came to the wraps it was to my dismay that they tasted bland. The garnishes delivered with them also didn't help to add much taste either.

I had a meal at The Old Mans Hat today with my girlfriends and it was great! The food and service were both wonderful, not to mention the relaxed atmosphere and cosy modern environment. 10 out of 10 from me!

Just had lunch at the Old Man's and it was outstanding! The service was friendly and attentive and the food and coffee were both great. Tried 1 of the gourmet pizzas > Wholegrain base, organic ingredients with amazing fusion of flavours- healthy and delicious!!! Sensaaational!

I am a Glebe local and was attracted to this place having heard good things from a few friends. I must say I was very most impressed with the signage and menu design of the cafe, and also the modern art deco decor. It is fantastic cafe/restaurant environment. The pizza I had was delicous, I think it was called Istanbul? Pizza took a little while (assuming due to just being opened..), but absolutely worth the wait. Had a very good coffee as well. All in all a most impressive new alternative to the Glebe pt strip. Highly recommended.

I had not heard anything about this place before but was walking by and the chalkboard advertising the organic lamb burger caught my eye. The burger was delicious, staff were courteous, delivering friendly prompt service. Ambience was nice too, and as I was eating alone, I appreciated the magazines and newspapers provided. Would go back again in a flash.
