I had a great dinner at Not Bread Alone in Crows Nest. I ordered the gnocchi and it was perfect. The pumpkin risotto my friend ordered was also amazing! For dessert I had the sticky date pudding and it was very, very good.

Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it because the portions there are very generous. I was full just from my main. It is great value if you reserve a table online because you get free dessert with every main meal! It cost $20 for a generous portion of gnocchi And dessert. Will definitely be going there again.

We have dined here a few times for lunch and dinner and always had a nice meal and good service. The on-line booking offer of free dessert makes it even better value. I love their chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce and ice cream - yum!

I stopped off at Not Bread Alone again at Atarmon today for morning tea with my son. I have been here before for lunch and the food is lovely with a great variety on offer. However, the past three (!) times I've visited, the waitstaff have completely ignored me, the place was not busy and a group of men sat at the table next to me and were served immediately.

Why ignore the Mum and child, its not as if we look like vagrants, and I know the place is popular with mothers groups. After 10 minutes of waiting I left, and copped a massive tantrum from my 4yr old who had been promised a milkshake for being good, so thanks NBA! Step up your act, word gets around.

We absolutely love this place. Their Corn Fritters are addictive and the eggs Benedict has to be one of the best in Sydney (no exaggeration). This place is a hidden Gem well worth seeking out if you are in Crows Nest.

Tried the crab ravioli with creamy zucchini and garlic sauce and the gnocchi special of the day. Both pasta dishes were great, though the creamy sauce for the ravioli could have been less heavy. Also had the warm chocolate brownie for dessert which was lovely with vanilla icecream. Their service is friendly and attentive.

I've dined at the Crows Nest restaurant once and I can't report any specific issues. It was a decent night out and a decent feed. However, avoid this place's sister cafe of the same name in the Artarmon Homemaker Centre just up the road. The most bizarre and pointless service model out there: they refuse to take your order at the counter for table service and then insist of being paid upfront before your food is brought to you. Literally every patron shakes their head at the absurdity of it all and vows never to go back. It's a pity the place is the only eating establishment in the centre, it certainly doesn't deserve the patronage.

If you are in a hurry, eat here because they will push you out as soon as you appear to be getting close to finishing. Expensive and rude, what a charming combination! There are plenty of other restaurants in Crows Nest that will appreciate your business. I would (and will) definitely avoid!

We had booked for a smallish group over lunch and had pre ordered our meals and they were out within 10 minutes of us arriving there and getting our drinks.
The staff were very friendly and the food tasty. Was one of the better Tandoori chicken burgers I have had. The people that had the designated main meals got their free dessert. It was a little bit crowded but overall a good experience and I will be going back.

Lovely little restaurant that my friends introduced me to. Nice casual place to have a relaxed meal, and prices are quite reasonable. Have been there twice now and will not hesitate to return in the future!

The staff was very rude for no reason, arrogant and really hard to talk with. We came to have a breakfast only to understand we should never come back. Do not recommend to anyone!
