Well-executed, authentic Cantonese food. Ambience is lacking, but despite being a 'hole-in-the-wall', they take bookings, and it's advisable to book unless you're going to eat super-early. Service is friendly and value is good.

Our family favourite, visited many time and always enjoy consistently good friendly service (amazingly fast) and good food. Duck is brilliant.

We make the trek here from Lindfield when we run out of ideas on where to go, and just want a quick meal. I have to admit, their laksa isn't the best - you can get better laksas from Sambal on Ryde Road, Simply Noodles in Macquarie Centre or Alice's at Thornleigh. However, we do enjoy their san choy bau, steamed gow gees, Hainan chicken rice and the dry-style egg noodles with wontons. My husband is a great fan of the black pepper hor fun and the black bean stir fries. Danny, the owner is always pleasant to us, but I've witnessed an episode where he let fly at a customer who took his Daily Telegraph. So don't mess with him!

Very good food and excellent service. Highly recommend the Sweet and Sour Pork Ribs.

Absolutely no ambience but this doesn't matter as the food is fast and fresh and very tasty. Am quite a regular there with friends who want a well priced meal. The tea they serve there is a nice touch.

Doesn't look much from the outside but simply delicious. Fantastic slurpy laksa, nourishing almost spiritual Hainan chicken, tender, juicy, slender Mongolian Lamb. We went there mid week after a school function and there were two other families there, we got the last table. Efficient speedy service, kid friendly, scrumdiddumptious.

Doesn't have a large menu for a Cantonese restaurant but the food is always very fresh, very clean and very tasty. Very good value for money. The BBQ pork (char siew), roast pork (Wed to Sun) and roast ducks are the best in Sydney, cooked fresh daily and traditionally hung up in the front window for all to see. Suckling pig is also a specialty.

Decor is functional but not fancy (laminex tables) but is extremely well maintained, clean and tidy. The kitchen is spotless and customers can watch their meals being prepared through a large glass window.

The service is very good for a Chinese restaurant and the staff are always attentive. Full credit to Danny the owner who runs a very tight ship. A small restaurant that can handle a group of up to 6 or 8 people if you book ahead. BYO with no corkage charge.

My favourite chinese restaurant in Sydney. Fantastic quality food. Friendly and efficient service. They are confident enough to have a large window for you to view the kitchen at work. All the dishes are served rapidly and freshly cooked. Passes all the benchmarks. Vegetables still crisp and sweet. Chicken which is meaty and not boney. Sauces not over the top. Salt and Pepper Squid which is melt in the mouth. The tables are wipe down laminex which may not be too classy but I like it nervertheless.
