I come here at least once or twice a week most weeks. The beef cashew nuts would have to be my favorite dish whilst the curry puffs there are also really good. I always find the food to be very filling and for a $10 cooked meal and a bottle of water it definitely beats a lot of eateries in terms of value for price.

The only downside to this place is you want to keep on coming back for more rather than exploring other eateries.

I come here for lunch once a week, the food is always consistently good, try beef stiry fry with chilli jam, delicious.

We went to Nokkaew Thai tonight after reading some great reviews on here, even though the reviews were about 1/2 a year old, and I thought that I would share our wonderful experience with everyone.

We arrived around 6.00pm, with no one else there but us, with tables both inside and out all set up very nicely ready to go. We looked over the menu, it sounded good, so we sat down outside - overlooking the beach.

The waitress came over within a couple of minutes with a bottle of cold water and the menus, along with the specials menus for us to look at. We looked over them and made our choices. I decided on the Yellow Curry, now for the curries, you can choose any meat, and whether you want it mild, medium or hot. I got mine mild and with beef. My parents got the BBQ Chicken from the specials menu as well as the Thai Fried Rice.

Within I would say 10ish minutes most of the food arrived apart from the BBQ Chicken, which arrived 3-4 minutes after, but still 15 minutes is not a very big wait. The waitress apologised for the delay, and we said that it was fine.

My Yellow Curry and the Steamed Rice that I ordered to have with it were absolutely splendid, honestly they were so perfect, you could really taste the coconut cream in it, all the flavours combined to form this incredible, delicious dish, honestly I could have eaten twice what they gave me, happily! That is not to say that the food portions were small, they certainly were not!

My parents tell me that both the BBQ Chicken and the Thai Fried Rice were fantastic, and I quote "the food was great, the quality was good and the food was very fresh". I tried the BBQ Chicken and rather liked it.

We went on a Saturday night, and as I said upon arrival it was empty, no one but us. But by the time we left at 7, even table but one inside was taken, and there was a queue for getting take-away.

My advice is to get there early if you want a choice of inside or outside, or a table at all for that matter. Overall, as shown by my ratings, everything was really great, we all loved it, no complaints at all. We will definitely be back in the near future. We enjoyed it, and we hope you do too!

Nokkaew is my favourite restaurant on the beaches, the food is consistently good and the staff are always pleasant. We go here at least once a month for our usual meal of vegie spring rolls, curry puffs, chicken satays, lemongrass chicken and red curry beef all of which are highly recommended. The new place at narrabeen is cozy and quieter than collaroy.

Our party of 3 shared 2 entrees, 2 mains and rice. We took our own beer and wine and the total bill was $55. Portion size was large and we had enough for everyone. The restaurant gets a little cramped and the toilet was a bit hard to get to but everything else was great.

I found my Nokkaew Thai experience wonderful. The new one has opened in Narrabeen and so we decided to give it a go, and it great! You get alot of food for the price. I recommend getting the coconut fried rice, its only 10 dollars but its massive! It comes with chicken and rice and it is like a main but the price of fried rice and extremely flavoursome as well!

Well believe it or not I am on my way out tonight and I certainly know what I'm getting! yum yum. Definitely recommended. Just give it ago!

We found this place by accident. Sunday lunch was on me so we went to collaroy and the sign on the front window stated $8.00, the take away menu read $8.00. But when our orders were taken the lunch time prices became $9.00. Change the signs then put your prices up, not the other way around. The excuse was new menu even though we still ordered from the old menu. Any how the food is great for value and we found Shirley something to eat from an Asian restaurant, so pleasing, definitely go back, portions were big compared to other Thai places.

Delicious. Great variety. Recommend the duck with shitake mushrooms. The Mussamum curry was excellent too. Friendly service.

Fresh produce, good portions, yummy dishes, wonderful people running the place, but miss the food when they go on holidays. Very casual atmosphere but a little crammed when busy.
