I booked online and they didn't have a table, the guy was the rudest waiter I ever met in a restaurant: when my girlfriend asked "so you don't have a table?" his answer was "no", then he left. That's it, no apologies, no explanation, nothing. I hope they close soon and leave the space available for a real restaurant with an understanding of the meaning of the word "service industry".

Very nice food, If that's all it matters will definitely go back! However, service-wise it's abit of downside. The senior staff kept on monitoring how much food I ordered.

After our first order, he told us there will be extra charges if we have alot of wastage and he kept returning to our table with a smile to check on how much food we haven't eaten. I have to say it's abit uncomfortable, and it would be nicer if he can give us the friendly reminder towards the later part of the buffet and It was my friend's birthday.

Not sure whether it's their strategy or I am just too sensitive, after the first order the food comes very late. I had to ask the waiters to check on the orders several times before they come.

Food variety is great. The decor is very nice and spacious and the powerful exhaust system that is hidden away from view means that you won't come out smelly. Wait staff are very nice but the senior staff is not very subtle when he tries to gauge how much food you ordered. They are very strict with the portions you can order even though it is technically a buffet. Worth going to but need to be careful about how you word your order.

To continue the feasting during the Chinese New Year period, we headed to Nishiki Wagyu Yakiniku for their mid-week buffet. The family got to sample a large range of wagyu beef and Japanese dishes at $55 per head.

For an all-you-can-eat venue, the quality of wagyu beef offered was very high – tender and sufficiently marbled. The buffet had a time limit of 100 minutes which did not seem enough, given the fun I was having at the grill. However, we all left the restaurant completely satisfied.

Three of us went there for dinner on a Monday night. Lucky we booked as the place was quite full. We had the cook your own BBQ buffet that includes sashimi and oyster (2 per person).

The quality of the meat was really good and plenty of Wagyu cuts to choose from. The sashimi was also nice, you can order by the piece. The drink was quite expensive, at $18 for a large Asahi draft you don't want to be too thirsty.

The service was a bit of a mix, some orders were forgotten and some were slow. But no major issue there, you just have to keep track of what you have ordered.
The buffet is only available from Mon to Thur I believe. Will I go back? Absolutely.

We have dined at Nishiki's several times and we were always satisfied. Very fresh and tasty food. Will be going back.

Went here with some work friends for a night out. Found the restaurant to be very clean, the food was fresh. We ordered the full buffet ($59.50/head) which was good value considering you got unlimited sashimi, 2 oysters per person and as much prawns and wagyu as you could handle. My only gripe was that we waited a little while for our orders for the BBQ to come out, but all in all a great experience. Will be a regular customer I can assure you.
