This is the best value thai around. I have had better, noodles, and I have had cheaper thai but value for $$$ this place can not be beat. The lunch special is 6.50 and it is basically the whole menu. They have recently introduced a new lunch special, spring roll+curry puff+ main+ can of drink= 9.50 that is some awesome value. A whole mean for the price of a normal plate of noodles. To top it all off the noodle are amazing, my favourite is pad kee mao. Also, the food is prepared vey quickly, an added bonus for hungover stomaches haha.

We go here for lunch a lot, both eat in and take away. They have about 15 dishes to choose from and starting at $6.50 you can't go wrong. Service is fast. Food is consistently to a good standard. The place is always busy but if you can't get a seat you can always walk up the road to the other restaurant, that also gets busy but have always been able to get in one or the other.

Great lunch resturant. The staff are pleasant, and the food is extra tasty and extra cheap!

Good food like Newtown Thai II but I prefer sitting in Thai II.

Enjoyed a nice cheap lunch here on the weekend ($6 per dish). I had tofu Panang curry, hubby had tofu and veg in oyster sauce. Both dishes arrived very quickly, and were good for the price.

Bags of flavour, fresh, fast and cheap. Not a good massaman curry , consistently good pad thai and stir fry's.

Not as good as Newtown thai 2! but still good. Great service, great prices, great food quality, in the top 5 thai's in newtown. Great stir frys, a bit cramped and uncomfortable, not a place to bring to impress, no ambience or decor but Great value for money! and good quality food.

Good food. Lunch is very cheap ($6). Place for a quick meal, not full on dinner. Packed during lunch and weekend.

I have been here a few times and although the food is nothing too amazing, you can't beat this place for value for money and unpretentiousness. Most of the dishes are around $10 or less. Only thing is that I once saw a cockroach on the table and told the staff who swatted it off!

One of the better cheap and cheerful Thai diners along the busy King St strip. Caters for locals, workers and students and does a roaring lunch trade in tasty generous Thai stirfrys and noodles at a great price. Pad see ew and pad mamuang are standouts for us and we find the chicken and tofu versions are consistently better than the others.
